| Quickly skimmed through the thread, but didn't really see anything except Solaph's post, and he isn't accepting PM's so i'll just post my PM that i tried to send to him here.. Just wanted to ask you about Denpateki na Kanojo http://myanimelist.net/anime.php?id=5177 So far there's only been 2 episodes released? Do you know how many there will be all up, and when(if ever) they will finish it? I don't know if i should start watching it if it's not complete. I was going to dl it since it said it's 'finished' on MAL, but then when i looked around, i heard there was an episode 3 and more to come? Can you give me some info on this series, because it sounds kind of interesting, but yeah. I don't want to start something that's not finished, let alone never going to be :( Any info would be appreciated. Thanks guys. |

| I just watched whole thing, since I noticed that on aniDB it was finally labeled as finished. I would like to expect more of the story, but it's not like this ending is bad either. |

I did some extensive internetting back in November; here's what I managed to gather. Wikipedia seemingly erroneously stated that there would be three OVAs (link). The editor who made the change, Ganryuu, cited the Japanese blog Earl Box, specifically the entry for 9/1 (９月１日) on this page. It simply states that DTnK would be made into an anime, and shows a small picture of the announcement (but no scan with details). The magazine is Shampoo SQ for October 2008, available here if anyone cares to buy a copy (scans elsewhere are not forthcoming). The official source states 「電波的な彼女」OVA第2弾、「電波的な彼女～幸福ゲーム～」（片山憲太郎（集英社スーパーダッシュ文庫）＆山本ヤマト）のOVAがいよいよ完成！出来立てホヤホヤのアニメ本編上映（約40分）とあわせて、メインキャストの ... <etc.> The "DenpaTeki na Kanojo" OVA's 2nd episode, the "DenpaTekia na Kanojo ~ Happiness Game ~" (Katayama Kentarou (SHUESHA Super Dash Collection) & Yamamoto Yamato) OVA is finally completed! <Then something about either with this OVA the entire thing is 40 minutes, or there was a 40 minute showing with the main cast; it's not clear since they don't use any kanji for あわせて> There are three volumes of the original novel out, but the OVA skipped the second one. Looking at the release schedule of the DTnK OVAs with the Kurenai books, I figured that if another was released, it'd be about the middle of this year (2011). With the skipped book and the lack of any new ones, though, it's less than likely. So yeah. |
