Anime Scores

Going to change the scores on all the shows soon so I decided to give myself an outline on how I would decide the score for shows (just so my scoring is slightly more consistent. I should probably do the seasonly blog post thing again as that works very well for judging my relative enjoyment for each show every season.)

I do like watching CGDCT shows more so the scores are usually more weighted towards them. eg. An "average" CGDCT show would be at least a 6 whereas an "average" generic vertical title harem might be a 4-5 depending on much I liked the girls.

10 - I enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed Madoka.
9 - I thoroughly enjoyed the show and if I wasn't a Madokafag, this might've been a 10. Most often there will either my favourite slice of life shows or the shows which I thought not only was the story well done, but I enjoyed the characters. I probably enjoyed the visuals and the music too. Also, highly likely to contains many qt3.14 grills.
8 - I really enjoyed the show. I really liked the cast and really enjoyed the show but it didn't really bring out that 1 extra element which I usually attribute to 9 shows (that usually does something, whether it be humour, visuals, music, tone, themes, extreme diabetes, etc for me to bump it up to a 9.).
7 - The show was a fun watch. I probably liked a majority of the cast, but there was probably something I didn't like about the show as well. If there's a generic looking harem show with this score, it actually probably means I really enjoyed that harem (read: the girls in the show).
6 - The show was okay. There may have been one or two moments I enjoyed in the show but the rest of it was only okay. The CGDCT shows that I didn't really like that much or were meh would probably go here. As for generic harems this is still a pretty good score and I probably still liked multiple girls or elements of that harem show.
5 - The show was meh. There were probably 1 or 2 major things about this show that I didn't like. If a CGDCT show is here, it probably means I had a hard time finishing it due to not really liking it. Most generic harem shows with 1 or 2 girls I really liked will probably go here too given I didn't dislike it's premise too much or it didn't do anything else too poorly.
4 - The show wasn't very enjoyable. "Average" score for generic harem shows and there shouldn't be any CGDCT shows lower than a 5.
3 - I didn't like the show at all. For one reason or another I didn't enjoy the show. Whether it be the cast not being that great, certain things being dragged out too long or happening too fast (pacing issues), no qt3.14 grills etc.
2 - This show was garbage. Multiple major issues with the shows and not enjoyable to watch at all.
1 - This show is so bad, I watched it because it was funny to see how bad it was. In a way, you could say the 1s are more entertaining than the 2s (and thus my enjoyment was higher) as usually the 2s aren't bad to the point where it gets funny.
