| Czeslaw might of had a sinister plan on the train, but after all that brutal torture he went through, and with how pitiful he is, I can definitely live with his redemption. It seems our good guys were quite lucky in this tale. Outside of the initial voyage that started it all, the bad guys really got the unluckiest endings here. Even the mass murderers with some sort of moral code didn't get too bad of an ending. Most surprising thing is what ended up happening with the immortality elixir. The American Mafia accidentally drank it, and the goodest mobster of all ended up absorbing the villainous immortal who was seeking it's ends. Firo is best boy, Isaac and Miria are the silliest robbers ever, and this was a great ensemble cast. This was quite an enjoyable story! |

| Really great show with a satisfying conclusion. All of the characters that deserved to do so got their happy endings. Dallas drowning in the intro finally makes sense! XD I don't know what else to say. I'm especially happy that Czes finally gets to heal from his trauma, and that Ennis gets to live in peace (with Firo? I hope so lol). The funny parts were great too. The psycho "romance" between Chane and Vino/Claire, and most of all the fact that it took Isaac and Miria 70 years to realize they were immortal. They're lovable but definitely stupid lol. So as far as I can tell, the entire main cast is immortal now, except Chane, Vino (despite his delusions), Ladd, Lua, Dallas, Eve, and Nice and her gang. Not sure if I missed anybody there. Assuming my final count is correct, 17 people died on the train assuming Nice's bombs didn't kill anybody during the hallway fight, with the final death being Goose (the leader of the black suits)? I feel like the death count was mentioned in one of the first 2 episodes but I'm too lazy to go find it. Anyway, great show with an amazing flow. The nonlinear storytelling was amazing for exposition. Definitely going to be watching the OVAs. |
| Finished my first rewatch of the show after around 5 years. The score is dropping from a 9 to an 8. While I did enjoy it, the story was riddled with multiple unnecessary characters and plot lines which had no relevance to the plot. |
