| The relay at the end of the episode really got my heart racing!! I'm starting to feel a little bad for Rin, but he really made himself out to be a jerk so I don't have very much sympathy for him yet. :/ |

| Shows like this shows you that the path to bettering yourself is as important as when you reach the goal. It also teaches you that friends really bring out the best in you. It's pretty cliche, but it's a nice reminder once in a while! |

| 4/5 Very interesting episode, the part about the races is exciting, the plot to make it more complete, includes also a section devoted to the psychology of the characters. Narratively pleasing, before the disappointment of Haru and then the anger of Rin, nothing is missing. The realism is good! Then designs and animations seasoned the dish in a sublime! I would have liked a little more drama! LOL |

Hmm, so maybe Haru and Rin get to race again ...? :O Aww, everyone waiting for Haru to come home :') Gou just barging into the bathroom, NBD ... XD Makoto falling asleep while waiting ... what a nice guy eh :P So Rin still remembers everyone's strokes ... jealous of Rei, maybe? Seems like it at least a little bit ... Festival episode next, really? Looks like all the bases are getting covered lol ;P |

| I loved this episode! I really dislike Rin and the way he acts. Haru is my favorite, such a nice person and gentle, like his best friend. I'm glad they are participating in the relay, that's important, no matter if they win or not (it wouldn't be much realistic if they did). |

| harurin can get all angsty as they want if this doesn't get too over the top and honestly, i think it's still not. i'd watch this only for rei and nagisa [and the butterfly PJs and the pink cellphone] tbh. i love them to pieces. and yes, this is a show about really hot guys being shirtless and occasionally swimming. and it's a show about friendship too. and it's also a sports show. but i adore how it seems to be well thought. i mean, there is a lot of attention to detail, even when it's all about fanservice. <3 |

| One thing that I think is keeping me from being more invested in this series is I kinda feel like Rin is just a jerk for the sake of being a conflict. Nothing about his past that we've learned so far seems to match up to his motivation to be a jerk to the others. I just don't really feel for him like the series wants me to. I understand how competitive he is, but straight up separating himself from his old friends just feels kind of contrived. And again, the show tries to create stakes that I just can't really suspend disbelief on. Of course they're going to race the medley - it's literally the episode title. Focus the suspense on whether they'll make it to regionals. T_T (Man I feel bad that I always show up and act critical. I am enjoying this show, but there's just a few things that keep bothering me.) |

| Haru's afterthoughts and his manfrinas are a bit exaggerated and make the narrative deep on the level of interpersonal relationships, but also a bit boring, because the air is a bit heavy. Better the ending with the mixed relay race, at that moment the atmosphere was more engaging. |

| Why is Haru such a tsundere lol of course Ama drives a pink car lol annnnd of course Nagisa has a pink phone. I'm not terribly surprised that Haru ended up wanting to join the relay, but still I was super happy he did it anyways. The fact that Rin is jealous that Rei took over Rin's spot was the best part. I'm glad Haru didn't really care that Rin was standing and watching. Nitori is annoying af tho I wish Haru valued his friends more. All Haru thinks about is Rin even though what's more important is in front of him, esp Makoto. He's a real one who completely understands Haru, while Rin just wants to out compete Haru |
