tsukasa just wasn't fast enough, and who does the owner blame? him! what the hell?! if you ask someone to look after an animal at least make sure it has all its vaccinations first, instead of blaming others later

This is one of the more memorable episodes. It really shows a turn in how Tsukasa is perceived. I always feel bad for Tsukasa wandering around in that freezing climate. :hates cold temperatures:

So Tsukasa now has to babysit a Puchiguso.

But aww.. it died. :(

I wonder how this Helbo person is like.

This episode was great, I think it showed a more sensitive side of Tsukasa. I wonder if he is the only one who can physically feel things in the world, it certainly seems that way. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that he's stuck in there.

At first I thought Sora was super annoying, but now I think he's funny :) Mimiru has really grown on me too.

This event definitely opens up Tsukasa and Mimiru to interacting with each other some more.

Hopefully we'll get more Tsukasa character development out of this than just him showing hsi softer side.

As for Helba, I already know who she is since I've read the Another Birth light novels, but I look forward to seeing her anyway.
Avatar character is Gabriel from Gabriel DropOut.

I love this episode. Really one of the sadder ones. This is the first anime I've watched that gives off a depressing, calm mood...

Whoa. Wonderful but so sad. It shows that Tsukasa really cherishes life, and that he's also selfless, contrary to what most would think. He cared so much about that little Grunty, and he went way out of his way to go get the purple berries. You could tell he felt the cold out there, and still he got them, yet didn't make it back in time.
=/

When Mimiru put her hand in his, I thought he would jerk away and tell her to go and leave him alone. It was touching that he found solace in her comfort to an extent. Definitely a damned good episode.
Know an AMAZINGGG anime with a strong male lead?!?!11one//?!

TELLMEEEE.
NoSrsly, bby. I'll love you forever. But no romance. I mean, romance is fine between you and I, but I don't want to watch that crap, okay? Okay.

Sora! love his seiyuu. He seems to be very well connected, makes him even more interesting.

As for Tsukasa he can feel heat and cold, was that because he found the key of twilight? or just a bug? a hacker playing around with him? something else..? just like he can't log out..all that must be explained later on.

If wasn't for him feeling cold for real, probably he could get there in time. He was so damm close :|

This was an interesting insight into Tsukasa. Considering that the game is life itself for him, it really shows how he's trying to make some kind of connection with The World and with others. My guess is that he was isolated and socially awkward as a child and that's why he struggles to get along with or communicate other players.

I'm also interested in the hunt for this key of the twilight. Looks like the bigger picture is finally taking shape. Sora is hilarious, so creepy yet great.

Oh no... Seeing the sick Grunty was more painful than I expected. Smol Tsukasa ;u; I DIDN'T THINK THE GRUNTY WAS GONNA DIE! KUSOOOOO!
I agree! I thought I was the only one who felt that this whole series was overall, sad? It has a weird mood to it that I love to find in anime.

Tsukasa finally found something to care about in The World, but he wasn't able to do what he needed to do. I think he will be more sensible and responsible from now on.

Not sure if this grunty thing was all a coincidence or someone manipulated that, I mean that situation was pretty much what cat's last words from previous episode said.

Grunty got sick and Tsukasa didn't knew what to do, here comes NPC telling him about healing purple cherries - the hope. Tsukasa goes to snowy forest and looks for them. Finding them he goes back to Grunty but unfortunately, he's a little too late and Grunty dies, which affects Tsukasa - the despair.

Sad thing is that Tsukasa - probably - spend 3 days looking for those cherries, if we take that Grunty got sick the first day Tsukasa have taken him and the fact that the Girl was away 3 days.
