| Always nice to see Misawa dueling (even though Jaden's protagonisthax will probably win him the duel anyway). Also, did anyone notice that the animation in this episode was a bit better than usual? Nothing incredible, but i do like to see that there's a bit more effort put into this one, since it is an important one. |

| I loved how Misawa sealed Judai's fusion tactics with a card that already existed instead of a convenient anime-exclusive card. Although Misawa's completed 7th deck looks hard to utilize and would only work in the anime due to plot. |
| I really like Bastion. His equation gimmick is meh, but it's so nice to have a powerful rival in this show who's also friendly with the protagonist. Also, I like how they were one Crowler interjection away from giving a first year Slifer the duelling honours lol |
