Mini-reviews for everything I watch are posted in my tags because I don't like to write a whole lot of text when a sentence or two would suffice. I generally enjoy anything at or above a 6, and so far I've picked some great shows to watch so my standards for 9 or 10 are pretty high most of the time.
10: Masterpiece. Go watch this even if you've dropped it before, because this is the best anime gets in whatever this show's about (shounen, drama, pulse-pounding action, etc.) and I'll openly defend anything on my 10 list. Yes, even Snow Halation, purely because I've heard it enough times over the months I've ended up unironically enjoying it. I only have one show of a genre in my 10 list.
Sports: HnI. Drama: LotGH. Shonen: FMA:B. Action: Redline. Fantasy: Made in Abyss Movie 3. Music: Snow Halation.
9: Classic. This is a show I just can't get enough of. It's often beautifully animated with many really well-written characters, and I wish I could watch it for the first time again. Okay, it's flawed and I won't yell at people giving it a low rating, but put enough of these in your 6-or-below list and I'll think something's wrong with your taste (because as we all know, anime quality is objective) :^)
8: Recommendable. Keep in mind there's a large power gap between 8 and 9 in my list, with only Angel Beats floating in the limbo between the two. 8-rated shows are those I've enjoyed and at times even considered a classic but just lack that spark to drive them into my absolute favourites. Of course I still love these shows and want to share them with others, so if you're considering a show and I've given it an 8 you should dive in now!
7: Enjoyable. It's probably not something I'd rewatch front to back but I certainly had fun on the first go. If I have a friend with me (or if someone is livestreaming it) I'll turn it on to discuss it and relive the best moments. There's not a whole lot separating 7 and 8 but I suspect that's the case for a lot of users on this site.
6: Good. It's overall a decent experience and there are aspects of the show that I found fun, but at times I did find myself 'accidentally' moving the mouse to see how long the episode has to go. These shows rarely if ever make it into my episode-per-day spot so they take a long time for me to finish as I usually watch an episode a week instead.
5: Meh. This is when watching a show starts to become a task rather than a fun way to spend my time, as these shows are dangerously close to getting dropped if every episode turns out to be like this. There may not be a whole lot actually wrong with these shows, but there's just so much to watch out there I don't want to spend too much time on this. Bust out those 3.5x speed episodes fam
4: Dropped. I gave up on finishing the show because I got bored or some plot twist was just so profoundly dumb I had to switch off (looking at you, Assassination Classroom). I won't mind picking these back up and tossing them around a bit but it's a black mark that won't wash off.
3: Crap. These are so bad they loop back around to being entertaining or educational for how many bad choices were made during production. I don't even mind rewatching parts of these but the overall experience still isn't worth picking the show back up.
2: Abysmal. This is a small group of shows and episodes that are so horrible I can barely watch the full runtime. Why do these even exist? Don't waste your time with this shit. Or do. I mean, it's a free country.
1: Masterpiss. This is the anti-10, so it stands to reason I only have the worst of the worst in this section. And I do! No Game No Life Special is a catastrophic, unwatchable pile of rancid manure and the creators of the show should feel thoroughly ashamed of themselves for greenlighting it. >:(
