Starting to get into the home stretch....

I think Allain is an idiot. What did he expect Oscar to do? The guy should've known the rules & what would happen. It seems pretty clear that that timid soldier sold it for food or medicine.

I don't think Oscar sold that kid... she's too kind hearted for that... she could have said that it was stolen and sold, or just avoid saying anything until they got bored to ask... It's about someone's life here, and we learned quite a lot till now that she treasures life no mater whose that is...

It's annoying that Allain is treating her as he is tho... she is his commander still...

Saint Just really is insane...

I'm marathoning this the rest of the way through. I like it, but now I just want to finish it.

I hope that kid knows all of the grief he's giving Oscar...

I don't think she sold the kid out, St. Just didn't kill the family at least.

Yeah what the fuck was that?

Oh and add my vote on the "Oscar didn't sell him out" side too...

Oscar definitely didn't sell him out, she even tried to cover for him. She told her second in command to come up with any excuse he could to protect the guy, so why would she just sell him out?

Wow, I didn't know they could send little atomic bombs with their arrows. I mean the explosion of the carriage was just huge. As if it were fueled by gasoline.

Anyway, I wonder why the rifle guy was arrested, can't imagine Oscar having anything to do with it. But still, Alain is getting more and more sympathy from me, I hope he stays in the series until the end.

I'm pretty sure her second-in-command gave the information away. He, or someone from the soldiers, but I can't imagine that.
I probably regret this post by now.

fire arrows with explosives tied to them.

the fire lights the fuse, and the arrow carries it to the destination.

I wonder about the weight issue though.

No way Oscar sold him out, but what will Oscar do now? Try to keep the status quo? She's going to have to make a choice soon I fear.

either someone else sold him out in his own troops or something to do with serial numbers of guns (or something like that)

Saint-Just is amazing villain - far better
and superior than the women that went through this show. They were annoying bitches.
I love how cunning and cocky he is, and that a failure doesn't stop him from proceeding with his goal.

Alain is such a badass character and Saint-Just is a badass villain. Watching this episode made me think how much better the anime gets when it stops being about silly aristocratic drama and handles real problems and fights. That stupid bitch Antoinette not being around helps a lot too.

Really thought Allain would be on Oscar and André's side, but I guess I was wrong he's just another idiot. Like first of all it's LaSalle's own responsibility and he knows the rules on what happens if he loses his gun, second of all you would normally expect a commander to tell on him (even though Oscar is an exception) and third of all there were a lot of people around when LaSalle admitted to having lost his weapon so why think Oscar is the one to have snitched

Oscar really should have warned LaSalle that the military police was going to come for him

Everything is falling apart and a suffocating feeling is starting to loom over Oscar.

Saint-Just is fine as the mustache-twirling villain when it comes to the action moments, he just hasn't show he can work against the melodrama side.

Everything was going great until Alain slapped Oscar and dragged her outside. It really ruined everything I felt because what he did was stupid. Oscar is his Commander and basically the Commander of all of them so I think it's perfectly reasonable and acceptable if she sold the guy, seeing how strict and obedient Oscar is as a leader then I can actually see why Alain suspected that but if Oscar really wanted to sell the guy to the Military Police then she would have done it from the start.. because Oscar herself said that the guy's reason/answer was ambiguous (and Oscar actually couldn't accept that) but in the end she chose to let it go (instead of finding out more) and gave him a new gun....

Wow these episodes are very good, this is what the show should be from the beginning.
The terrorists planed to kill foreign people, they want a war or what. As I guessed in that regiment there are infiltrated terrorists and wow exploding arrows.
That last scene with Alain, I thought he was a good guy but how he dared to threat Oscar like that, even slapped her for doing her job, what a dumbass I hope he gets executed or something after this, I also knew something weird was happening when that soldier lost his weapon but I wonder is he also a terrorist?.
These are the episodes I wanted from the beginning real action instead of stupid political drama and sentimental shit.
