| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- First I'll say it's not subbed, I watched it raw. I couldn't be bothered to wait, it've been a couple of months since 3 was subbed so. Anyways, this episode was pretty good, supposedly better than the others. It was rather surprising that Nina became Mashiro's otome as well, but she fought well together with Arika against Fumi! And her weapon was pretty neat too. When Mai fought Kagutsuchi it kind of felt like they would make Mai Otome end up as something similar to a prequel of Mai Hime, but in a parallel universe or something like that. But I guess that wasn't the case since Kagutsuchi turned into a cat, lol. |
| Well that wrapped up better than I expected. The non-stop action kept me on the edge of my seat, cheering on the characters as they entered the battle(s). The extremely fast pace at the beginning and in the middle made the ending seem uneventful. Perhaps I'll notice specific loose ends after a re-watch. We finally got to see "more Mai", but less Natsuki (and almost no Shizuru), plenty of fan service, and an almost un-recognizable Nina (way to swallow your pride Miss Wong!). The Kagutsuchi transformation was hilarious. The biggest questions I have right now are how Mikoto (& her cat partner) and Fumi (and her cat [soul]?) are related. The Zwei series definitely needs an uninterrupted re-watch! The count-down to Mai-Otome 0~S.ifr begins! |

| That was pretty cool, loved seeing Mai fight against Kagutsuchi. That battle was great. Nina looked awesome as well. Overall I'm also giving it an 8. |

| from the view of content this episode was for me nothing too special. fighting scene's where good but it just didn't had a good flow with the storyline... and still I got me for the last seconds very sentimental and I really love the whole Mai Otome OST! |

| The last episode was nice overall, but i'm quite disappointed by the ending. The main plot seems to lack something. A destruction system, okay... but why does it exist ? Who used it in the past ? All of that seems too vague... |
| The series appeal is built on success of the the previous series obviously. The plot itself amount next to nothing in the end. But it can't really be helped I suppose since it is only 4 ep after all. It wasn't too bad except I don't see why the Antagonist enemy couldn't use her laser-eyes ray on Neena and Arika in the final battle. She seems awfully weak in the final act compared to previous scenes in fact. The other thing I was surprised about, was Neena getting Mashiro to become her master - is that supposed to be even possible? I thought the master's life was linked to his/her Otome - how can Mashiro's life be linked to 2 Otomes then? It seems to me the anime creators wanted at all cost to find a way to somehow include Neena as part of the main cast, especially in the final battle. The bath scene where Arika's body look exaggeratedly voluptuous seemed a bit exaggerated as well (out of the picture to be more precise). But still though - I'm a fan! and I want more!!!!...plz |

| Damn they're flying in space again xD Not much in the story department unfortunately, but overall a pretty fun fanservicey OVA with some more character development. I liked the unused sketches in the previews. |
