Not looking for a fight here, but seriously now. Going by this you are a type of person going around giving 10s on mediocre series and movies and getting irrational on with something genuinely well made.

See, LOLOPINIONS game can be played by both. You're entitles to your opinions and I have nothing against that. But don't get personal on me just because I think your review had weaknesses becaise some things didn't make sense.

In any case: no harm ment. We clear?

Rhetorical trick sir. When you write as long and glowing review as I did it's not a bad idea to provide context that hey, maybe this isn't just some fannish gushing beyond it's general reception.

Sayonara no Tsubasa was exceptionally well received in Japan both critically and commercially with glowing reviews and people going to see it often more than once in general. The award winning and the jury comments simply reflect that.

So I simply mentioned them in beginning of the review as one of the hooks to keep the reader interested in the text despite its lenght. As in "well since he isn't only one who liked it perhaps I might be willing to spend time reading through it all".

Of course you have right to your opinion so I have nothing to whine about. Though I must say I found the review pretty disappointingly shallow, especially as Ranka, Alto and Sheryl get each more character development than in series which is achievement in itself and if you liked the romance it's bizarre you don't rate the films higher as it actually gets resolved there, unlike in tv series where the whole thing was kinda botched.

In the end of course you have every right to think like you do :)

No. My favorite arc is the one presented in the anime. In fact I might switch out the Berserk manga for 20th Century Boys once I finish it.

The anime is really amazing Hee, you stopped after the first episode which is completely not connected with the rest of the arc, so you really can't understand how great it is. I'd say, try it again.
