| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- So furuichi is still a ass(maybe even more of a ass then before), LOL! at how different raigo looked after he shaved. Wondering how haru's sister is gonna be involved... Preview for the next episode seems to be more of a back story to nakiami and raigo maybe. |

It's balanced out action and character development just about perfectly, and it's the characters that separate this show from many of it's like. I loved this episode and look forward to a back story episode next week. But man, Furuichi is just such a jealous arse, he's rather a unique character in that respect. |

I agree, the pacing is rather slow and the lack of story development from this episode bothers me. At least we learn few things about Raigyp but that's pretty much it. Furuichi is still and ass but it looks like he's given up on Haru, Haru still cares about Akiyuki and Akiyuki is struggling to fit in with Raigyo now on board. But what was up with that episode preview? Was that really Haru at the end (>_<)? |

| Though I agree it is moving a little slower than you'd expect for a 26-ep series, I liked this episode. These are mostly character models we've seen before, but they're taking the time to flesh them out instead of just relying on cliches and mindless action to progress things. Liking this series a lot. Hopefully it lives up to all this potential. |

| I find the complaint that there wasn't enough action in this episode kind of weird. Weren't the past two episodes before this one pretty much straight action? I think the pacing is fine, so far. Besides, it's not like the chance of a season 2 is zero, right? It's not something to worry about now. Also, Raigyo is awesome. |
| Fairly slow episode. The action in Xam'd seems to be concentrated every few episodes, so expect #10 to be kinda slow, too. But now we know that while Akiyuki can't control his Hiruko properly like Raigyo, the latter still doesn't even have a clue as to what his wants, while Akiyuki does. Maybe they can teach each other. It's also apparent that Raigyo is fairly secure with his masculinity. Hm, anyone notice that Nazuna hasn't been even mentioned since about episode 3 or 4? It's not like she's dead. I was expecting her to be more important. EDIT: Haru better not betray Akiyuki, too. She shouldn't listen to Furuichi and Kakisu. |

| Wow, this episode was by far the best since the beginning of the series. Really helps to understand the plot and character relations. Fantasticaly well directed and scripted too. |

| anyone interested in the new perfected weapon against xamds ?? This ep was a good example of how to balance character developments and the action in a series... There was not even a simple action scene which was done meaninglessly just for mere entertainment.. Anyways, personally, really liked this one, but guessed Raigyo would look like that since in the OP we can clearly see him taking photos *without a beard* XD Furuichi you bastard, get off of Haru and Baka-yuki's backs xD Overall, one of the very well-executed anime series of the year, looking forward to more, BONES = win ^^ |

| an interesting episode that pretty much showed me that everyone in the crew likes raigyo wayyy more than they will ever like akiyuki. i was kinda getting bored at their blushing and their "omg" look on their faces..... i didn't like haru getting slapped at doing what she believed was right.... but i guess that is how they want to portrait the army there. i really wonder how haru's sister is going to fit in all this. now, a bigger plot comes to mind i guess.... wonder what will happen now. 666th post.... should i be happy? ;P |

The last few episodes we've seen Furuichi's true colours. I knew that was coming after the cave bit. Poor Haru, having to deal with that bastard. I really love Akushiba. He's just awesome. Nice little episode, as someone said a few posts back I'm wondering how Haru's sister ties in.. |

| I really like the animation quality in the show and the soundtrack is superb, but aside from that I don't really like the pacing of the episodes. I feel like nothing is actually happening and there isn't any formidable plot building up. Also, they haven't really explained anything yet regardingthe Xam'd, Humanform weapons, and the war. I hope things get better in the next couple of episodes. |

| Man, Furuichi pisses me off so much. Also, poor Akiyuki never fits in tbh. They were always just using him a an extra pair of hands, now that Raigyo is back, it is just more apparent. Aki has never been treated well on that ship. Fuck that crew. I hope he learns to control it and go off on his own and take Haru away. |

| Raigo is charming. He is probably going to be a mentor figure. I don't understand why Haru doesn't mention that Akiyuki fought humanforms. That alone should prove that he is not with the northern state. The dialogue in this anime requires some work. |
