| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I can't believe Chikage is a father. Shocking moment... I thought they should say uncle, or big brother or something like this at every moment, but he really is the father. Did not expect this at all. Also, I cant believe Deko-chan is a forth grader. so premature o_ô I don't know, somehow this episode still didn't feel as good as the ones before, the funny moments were not as funny, or something like this. |

| That was pretty dramatic in the beginning. Then it got all happy really really fast. ^_^ And the end.... seeed fairly serious... I can sense tensiooooon!!!! And more drama. =P I just have to reiterate... I love the chibiez in this show!!! But it's moving a bit fast. *Only liek 4 eps left. | So adorable~ I needed some fluffiness today, and this filled it, along with some *eherm* awkward comedy (Deko getting all up on her dad, WHAT). When Chi was like "It felt good~!", I started cracking up! Deko's relationship with her mom at the end reminds me of something my mom and I would do, just being all huggy in the street and declaring that we'll bake bread tomorrow. I wish we lived in Japan, dude! Oh, another kidnapping case? DRAMA, I COMMAND THEE TO ENSUE. |

| Well, despite the rough opening which I had issues with, the episode resolved itself pretty well. Also, Chikage's family is surprisingly complex given the little time allotted for them. I enjoyed seeing them reconcile, though it seemed quick and easy given how bad the blowup was at the beginning. I would have liked to have this interaction last longer, but I'll take what I can get. |
Yeah, Deko's mum is a terrible parent. Deko is literally still a child. The subs I watched said pre-teen. What Tachibana said to Deko after she told him what happened was pretty bad too. Sure, adults get stressed and whatever but that doesn't mean their kids should be the parent for their parents. Adults, much less parents, should be able to control their emotions and parent themselves. If you have anger issues like that, you shouldn't be a parent. At the very least, apologise and admit fault afterwards. Also - not sure if my subs were wrong but did Eiji call Deko a whore twice? Were they commenting on a literal child's breasts? And did Deko's mum tell everyone that Deko started her period? Uh wtf? This was by far the worst episode of the series and was super unnecessary imo. |
