| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This was the best episode in a while. Dante was a pretty messed up dude. He killed people with no remorse and kissed them. He also did a cool hand jive move to chop that one guy up in the beginning. I think the way Ken killed Dante was quite artful. He made him walk into a volcano and his head exploded on the way down. |
| It would have been better if let him burn alive inside in the volcano than making his head explode while falling. Btw why does this anime always kills the nice person(well this guy wasn't as perfect but anyway) they meet so Ken can get mad. Can't he once kill the bad guys before they kill a tone of innocent people. |

| Another good episode. No redemption for Duran sadly. Another cruel end for the villain, although Ken showed a bit of mercy by killing him off before he fell into the lava. I'm surprised Ken didn't press a few pressure points with the coughing dude to cure him. I guess he didn't want to embarrass dr. Duran. |

| Man, how dense can Shin be? He did live before the world went to shit, no? So how is he so oblivious to the fact that Yuria doesn't like men who rule by power and trample over the weak? If he actually changed himself, Yuria might have a better opinion of him even if she doesn't forget Kenshiro. I didn't think this show would feature a character who was once evil but then turned his life around considering how every bad guy Kenshiro faces is comically evil. Granted, it's in a filler episode but still. Poor Dr. Duran. In the end, he was forced to return to his old life but maybe he redeemed himself by protecting the girl. Ig Ken was confused af that's why he didn't save him. I just realized that the title of this episode basically spoils Duran's fate. Feel bad about the little girl. Not only did she lose the first love of her life, but now no one can take care of her sick father. Unless Ken hits a magic pressure point off-screen which he might do. For a filler episode, it was pretty good. I hope the rest of the fillers are this good and shake things up a bit. But I think all of them will be like Shin sending a random guy to kill Kenshiro instead of going himself. |
