Feels good to finally get around to continuing one of my favorite series from last year. I think my favorite part was the first. It's so adorable how Ika tries so hard to be intimidating and fails so miserably. For the last part, I really thought that jellyfish girl was gonna show up. I was disappointed when she didn't. |

| Just started up season 2 and find it to be equally as entertaining as the first. I felt really bad for Sanae when Squid girl said she didn't like her. Seriously thought she was going to have a heart attack right there lol. I like the new opening, but not sure more than the first, but both are great. Can't wait to watch the next episode. |

| Nice start of the second season, the main story development stays the same so that's good that they didn't change that style, art and animation is also as nice as ever, OP & ED are quite nice as well but preferred the first season though! Let's see what this second season has to offer us! |

| Good thing this series has sequel, I like Ika Musume so much! :) And her new girl-friends are also adorable! Though first ep of second series was kinda slow I guess, I hope this gets better along the way. |
| I like S1's OP more but hey this season's OP is by Sphere so I'll take it XD Another slow start but it's not something to worry about. |

| I do not know why, but the beginning is not superlative, as happened with the first season, and yet, the funny situations, are not missed. The quality of the drawings, has not improved much than before, even animations; maybe they are the drawings to be not to my liking, or is it just the initial impact with the anime series, oh well! The opening is cute, a little less than the ending. Maybe re-seeing the series, I will appreciate better this second season, however, it is the fact that Ika, Chizuru and Sanae, are great characters. |

| New opening is kinda catchy. That beginning scene seems like a cross between the Terminator and Predator. Nice! How bad is Sanae's hearing that she has to scooch that close to them. lol  Classic Squid Girl episode. Still have the same feel as the first season. Just how I like it.  |

| It seems as great as the first season, the new opening is really good :D The jellyfish contest was so fun XD A bit sad that the french subs for the second season are bad :( |

| Re-watching this. Nice and catchy OP again. I absolutely love the ED of this season. It's one of my favorite EDs of all time. It's so beautiful. Paranoid Ika was amusing. She saw danger everywhere. Ika looked pretty scary in this scene. It's cool how intimidating she is every time when her eyes are glowing. :P Poor Sanae. :( I feel sad for her. Ika still doesn't like her. The Three Stooges and their random inventions. That jellyfish contest was pretty hilarious. |

| This was a really good first episode for the second season, I have missed these group of characters so much. It's just as funny as it was for the first season, quite a lot of the voice actors got changed in the English Dub apart from Squid Girl herself who is still played by Christine Marie Cabanos but it's not really a big issue seeing as it still fairly decent some say it was a slow episode but I don't mind that aspect because it's only the first episode so that's fair enough. Not sure about the opening for the second season being catchier than the one for the first season cuz I honestly think the latter is better. But I do like the new opening though, thank you Anime Music Quiz for making me hear this opening in particular about a million times there. Loved it when Squid Girl was paranoid. Danger! Danger is after this little inkling! XD Did feel bad for Sanae even though with the whole "I don't like her" thing I feel like she kind of walked into that one personally. The Jellyfish contest was also a lot of fun. Can't wait to see what the rest of Season 2 has to offer me. Bring it on I say, bring it on. |
