| Nimi actually did really well there. I thought he would suck and Asano'd have to make up for that. To keep the score at 0 all that time is nice. Pitcher wars FTW! Yunosuke and his blunders, jeez. I feel sorry for that guy. And did Yuki seriously just die? o.O When the episode ended I thought, "Nah, they're faking us out and everything will be back to normal soon enough," but the preview turned that thought around. |

| The game was exciting, Yunosuke kept messing things up, it was seriously painful to watch. But at least they still won in the end. Also holy crap, my prediction was right...Yuki died. ;__; Or judging by the preview, she may be in a coma or something? Wouldn't they take the body away if she was dead instead of leaving it in the hospital bed? |

| The sports action was really top notch in this one, this episode was very sports-anime-like (not wtih the over-the-top stuff but had me on the edge of my seat for most of the game). GOod stuff. Though 'dat ending'... Poor Nadeko, and poor Mio! :P |
| That match was awesome. I kept thinking it was a real game, so I was shouting so much. NOPE NOPE Yuki didn't die. Yea that's it she didn't die. She just fell into a coma and will wake up later. Yea that's what happen. Nothing sad is going to happen. NOPE IT WILL HAVE A HAPPY ENDING. I refuse to believe something bad happened to Yuki. |

| well, nice sports action episode we have here.. not so over the top and the source of my tension while watching is Yuunosuke.. he made me say f* like 3 times.. anyway.. my rule in anime has always been.. NEVER EVER SAY AT ONCE THAT AN IMPORTANT CHARACTER IS DEAD UNTIL IT IS CLEARLY STATED OR SHOWN, WE ARE VERY SURE WHERE THE BODY IS, AND OTHER ADDITIONAL PROOF THAT HE/SHE REALLY IS DEAD HAS BEEN SHOWN.. well, at least for now, it applies.. It's not in the final game in Koushien [they're trying to get there], so this is not THAT riped off. But I admit I thought about Touch when I saw that Minami was the manager lol I really don't know what to think. It looks like she died, but at the same time it doesn't. Anyway, it's going to be a great fright to everyone, and getting too emotional on times like this is no good. |

| Well, that was expected. If anything, this show is really anticlimactic. The matches lack suspense and excitement because it's trying too hard to be realistic. Staying at a solid 6 so far. |
| This is where the show goes down for me, and hard. Forget about Yunosuke and how the writer hates him, the part where Minami was like "oh yea we can't replace Yunosuke, let's trust him." was somewhat hypocritical, when she said to Yuuki before, that they will make it to koshien. Not only that, this means that the bench members won't get to play, because just fuck it, trust in Yunosuke, that we will. Was she this kind of character before? Now, don't get me wrong, I don't want Yunosuke replaced, but the way it's written here make it seems like the current team is the main characters, and lets screw the other characters whose name wasn't even mentioned, who cares if they're in the bench, let's give our main characters all the "development" even if they screwed up big time. Yuuki's death flag, lmao, who didn't see that coming? Edit: The other team doesn't have any good batter? -_- They are like.. the first seed or something? |
