If You've looked at one of my reviews (there's only one atm, but more will come), or if you're looking at my scores for anime, here's a basic guideline as to what they mean:
Basically I only like specific genres, which is quite obviously shown in my anime list... if you don't like the same type of animes I do, then my recs will be worthless to you.
Basically for me, I need at least one of the following in order to enjoy an anime:
love (family love as in sibling love (not incest), parent-child, grandparent, etc and friendship love),
romance (less preferable than love),
a really intelligent/influential/wealthy/lucky person (eg. akagi, Special A (kei), Hanasakeru Seishounen (Li ren), clannad (kotomi))
slice of life and drama
tragedy
deep and philosophical
gambling
In terms of scores for anime:
10 - The absolute best. I am limiting myself to a max of five 10s for TV, and three 10s for Movies
9 - Very good animes that are worth watching, and maybe rewatching. Some of these might deserve a 10, but there just isn't enough space. Basically a 10 would require that I get something out of the anime, whether it's a new perspective on life, or a goal, or something.
8 - Good anime that are worth watching, but I wouldn't push people to watch it like I would with 9s and 10s (usually this means that either the plot is great, but some parts are illogical, or it's not a tearjerker)
7 - Your generic anime. I would not watch 7s over 13 episodes had I known they would be a 7.
Anything lower than a 7 is either plain boring or has something that is completely against my code of ethics. I would normally not finish something less than a 7, so they should be relatively rare.

There's nothing really I can say, since I didn't read anything you guys have been saying to each other. To say the least, those comments were pretty lengthy! There's nothing wrong with that of course.
I respect your viewpoint much as the next person~
So I can't really answer your question, I'm sorry. :(
I don't expect people to follow my "words as a bible". Hell, I couldn't care less what people thought; I wrote the review in part expecting to set a record for most hated review. When I step on dirt, do I care what dirt thinks? No. But apparently, butthurt people like you seem to not understand that people CAN have different opinions on matters. Both of us are 2 weeks before graduation. They teach you in 1st grade to respect other people's opinions. Do you even pass first grade? (Your logic certainly doesn't.)
But ultimately, it is unfair for me to try to enlighten you. People live and people learn. After all, who am I to deprive you of all the humiliation and suffering you'll experience for your arrogant stubbornness? We each live life how we want. I'd like my life to be purged of annoying, ignorant people that doesn't respect the basic matter of opinion.
Good bye. And I sincerely hope that this is the last time we meet. No sarcasm intended.
Extra quotes for looks? Looks like your move wasn't exactly allowed.
I completely agree with the statement about how desperate people get when they're wrong. After all, these lastfew posts on my profile show exactly just that. Lying, falsely accusing, even stooping as low as adding random words to make a point. It's really entertaining to see hypocritical people attack others for their views, fail miserably, and retreat while covering their asses.
Your argument was flawed the moment you tried to interfere the opinion of others.
Checkmate.
