| First of all let's deal with the traditional view of succubi (and incubi too for that matter) who were demons that sexually stimulated humans (often in their dreams) and lived off the results (usually with negative physical effects on their host). It looks like the creators of the manga and anime incorporated some aspects of that medieval Christian view into the base for the story line. However.... This anime doesn't have the feel of that particular world view. In fact the cosmology of this universe is based on the Nordic mythos of the nine worlds and Lotte and her friends seem to be varieties of light elves (Ljosalfar). If you prefer to put it in the context of the Realm of Faerie, then they are members of the Seelie court and generally well-disposed to humans (or at least curious about them). Every now and then members of the Seelie court take a fancy to a human and bring them into Faerie to serve as a companion or consort. In the case of abducted children, often a changeling was left in their place. (See the following poem for a description of an abduction http://www.online-literature.com/yeats/816/) Note that the laws of faerie are different from the laws of most human jurisdictions so age-of-consent is not an issue. He also seems just a little fey (touched by Faerie) in the way he interacts with his daughter (who did the negotiation over the contract with suspiciously more sophistication than your average human 10 year old). And by the way...Loved the use of the elder Futhark runes on the blackboard at school. |

It is stated in the series that all children of succubi are succubi irrespective of the father's racial lineage... which means Naoya may have a special lineage :P |

I thought there was a translation error at first, but then as it went on I was just... whoa.. then I paused and went to check at the tags on this show and indeed saw romance as one of them... sooo not sure what to think. Maybe the princess will get with asuha instead? XD hopeful thinking on my part lol. |

And I also freaked out and couldn't resist to look at the spoilers, those things are even without spoilers in the characters description. But apart from that he had sex with a mature women at the age of 13, it's pretty weird that he looks like he is 13. Also it keeps me theorizing what the age of the mother was at that time. This episode was too f*cking adorable! Naoya and Asuha's relationship is giving everyone fits though. It made for some good laughs and some classic anime awkwardness. Oh Japan! This is all still pretty damn weird though. I'm trying hard to avoid spoilers on it. My guess is that he's just the older brother or a cousin. It would be intriguing if he really is the dad though. |

| Why is everyone so surprised? Boys fap like crazy at 13. If they find an available hole they have no problem filling it. A girl is a little more troublesome because there bodies are still fragile and may not be strong enough to go threw the procedure of pregnancy, but boys can fire away. So if the mother is an older woman then it isn't very hard really. |

| Really enjoyed this episode. The alpaca scene was a laugh, and Astarotte is starting to get along with her classmates now as well. She even got a peck on the cheek from Asuha, surprisingly enough. What does Naoya's wife look like anyway? |
