| Nothing new except that Shinn is acting like a brat as usual. Seriously, the kid needs to learn to grow up and change that attitude of his. I'm surprised at how much patience Athrun has with Shinn, and even saying that Shinn isn't a bad kid, he's just awkward. Athrun has my respect. |
| Oh Shinn, he needs far more seasoning...however he is not the most annoying. I've meant to say this for a few episodes now but Arthur (the Minerva XO) has got to be the dumbest and most useless officer I have seen in a Gundam series and I've seen quite a few. He knows nothing on strategy, nothing on technology being used, no insight on anything, and can't carry out any of his duties or even know where he's supposed to be without being told by the Captain. He just bugs the crap out of me anytime he speaks, far more than even Shinn bugs me. |

Episode 18: Once again, I liked the indepth briefing on the tactical situation for this battle. Reminds me of the pre-battle briefings in Dragonar. Wish there was more of this. RIP those Alliance officers who got lynched. Hopefully they were just the really bad, bad guys and not just regular grunts who didn't do anything, but we did hear the townsfolk say "kill them all" so sadly it seems like a lot of innocent men just got lynched. Yeah the captain's second in command being amazed at hearing an 18 year old boy give a quick rundown on the situation was... lol. Yes this scene is hear for the audience's sake but you don't need to make the characters look like fools doing so (look at Dragonar: you have grown adults doing quick briefings before battle and at no point does anyone become amazed by this basic skill). |
