| There’s no denying it—Kageyama is on a whole different level compared to Reiko and Kyouichirou when it comes to being a detective. The way he pieced everything together and deduced that Hinako was the attacker, along with her possible motive. Now with the new murder case, Reiko and Kyouichirou are on it, but yeah… progress? Not really happening. It’s a Mystery show, so the heavy dialogue makes sense, but when the majority of it turns into dry, boring yapping that doesn’t even keep you hooked? Yeah, that’s when the show’s failing to deliver. |

| The perpetrator in the first case was too predictable, and the fact that the victim squeezed out was clear in the first episode, although I'm happy about it. In the second case is still unclear, although the fact that the girl naively lost consciousness, as if hints that something knows. I'm looking forward to more of Kageyama's mockery of her mistress in the next episode. |

| DYING MESSAGE!!! Kageyama reminds me a lot of Sakamoto (the Cool! Cooler! Coolest! highschooler, not the ex-hitman) in both his flawlessness at everything and his looks. And it's kinda funny how both he and Kazamatsuri had baseball aspirations at one point. |
| The case was solved but it was a bit predictable who the suspect turned out to be. This new case seems interesting personally I get the feeling the girl did it with help from her dad or uncle. |

She only did it because of her admiration to Mizuho. And Kageyama being an attentive butler, calling Reiko at the middle of the night because there's another murder. I lowkey shipped these two because they are both funny. I suspect the son of the CEO, he is kinda sus. However, the family members are all suspicious. Lastly, Kageyama is cooking something and I know he's the only one can solve this murder case AGAIN. What a cliffhanger. PEAK EPISODE! |

| Reiko having found out the culprit who attacked Mizuho, and between the 3 friends of her, and Kageyama revealing the Alexandrite gemstone that Hinako wore that singled her out against the other wealthy families, the small midgets of evidence that proved her act in the crime, and the case is promptly resolved out of the Alexandrite connection of a secret love between the two. But most certainly, Kageyama being the butler detective is out of left field in contrast to what he wants to do, but solving mysteries after dinner is his shtick. Yet another case affiliated with the Hosho Group, the Kunitachi real estate queen of Kinue Kodama leaving a dying message, only for the culprit to remove it, both Kyouchirou and Reiko are on the case as per usual. However, the evidence they're represented, as well as the Kodama family and servants all presenting their alibi, anyone could be a culprit killing their own mother, that's undetermined for now. And once again, does Kageyama have an answer for this? Kageyama, better make the cases interesting with your analyses. |

| Damn it I’m still learning the release schedule how’d I miss this yesterday! Wild twist to the dinner party case, I love a little Yandere yuri assault and battery in my seasonal anime 😂 I really do feel for Hinako, she’s clearly not a bad person. Let her emotions get control of her and made an awful choice. Assaulting someone because your crush got dumped and didn’t win the engagement sweepstakes is crazy. Good thing nothing serious really came of it and presumably Mizuho won’t press charges. The fact Kageyama easily pieced everything together is wild tho. Second case.. idk I think all them mfs guilty because none of them seem sad about their mama getting killed in the fucking house lmao. All of them into sketchy shit too so it’s really no telling. I wonder if Kageyama will solve this one too or if Reiko and her partner will get their shine.. I’m wondering who Kageyama is gonna end up being too |

| @jrry_kn I didn't read the manga but I think that the little girl did it. She even tried to get the younger brother to be accused of it when she mentioned that he was a pitcher, then covered it by saying that he has an injury that stopped him from playing anymore. Anyway, I guess we'll have to wait & see. |

| I didn't expect at all that it was Mai and not Kazuya who Hinako admired... her friends didn't expect it either but I think they all accepted it well. I also didn't expect that Mizuho wasn't Kazuya's fiancée but Ayaka's father's! Whoaaaa xD It's only natural for Ayaka to be so upset, her future stepmother is her own senior xD who even used to play together with her in the past. In the end Mizuho's case was solved by Kageyama with a little help from Reiko who did the falling scene for the second time... Kazamatsuri, as the real detective here... didn't help... at all... but he's really funny... silly... especially when screaming "dying message!!!" XD |

| Well, we got the revelation of the 1st case's killer. Was not expecting for Hinako to be in love with Mai, and not realizing the woman she was hitting was actually a person she knew, Mizaho. I'm glad Mizaho ended up being ok, and there was some possibility for redemption! We also got the introduction of our next case: A rich old woman who is killed, and the suspects are her own family, that seemed unfazed by her death. It's clear that family isn't really close, to say the least xD Either way, it seems our detective duo are having trouble discovering the culprit, and rightfuly so. So, by the end of the episode, Kageyama decides it's time to help, once again, his lady. I personally think that Satomi has at least something to do with the death of the old Lady, because I've seen many detective shows, and the most innocent ones tend to be the real culprits. In the middle of the episode, we got a glimpse of Reiko's backstory, and also some interactions between her and Kageyama, I hope we see more of that later in the series! Overall, I think the episode was enjoyable, although I think the episode still had a really fast pacing, just like the 1st one, I hope that is fixed soon! I'm still surprised by how this anime has big voice actors in it, the animation looks really fine for what the anime needs, and the direction seems good too (outside the fast pacing problem). The music is also good! The artstyle is good, although I'm not a big fan of the backgrounds most of the times, they just look rough drawings. Either way, I'll keep watching this anime, because I'm having a good time watching it, even if it's not a masterpiece! Edit: Forgot to mention, but we also got this episode the reason why this anime is called The Dinner Table Detective! |

| I feel like I've switched on some long thriller dorama in the last few episodes and so most of the twists give me an awkward feeling like I've missed most of the setup of these characters. @Marinate1016 Not only dumped, she also attempted suicide. Granted, in that case it would be expected to have beef against her ex-fiancé, not his new girlfriend. But it amazes me that even after the "she's actually a lesbian!" twist, they still talk about it as if the girl was just defending her best friend without any subtext. |
