Episode took an eerie twist again. It seems something mischievous is about to go down and ofc, Nene is also involved. Yikes Hanako.

Rahhh another amazing episode and twist at the end. This is easily the best Hanako kun arc so far.

“The person I like isn’t here so I’ve got to go” 😭 Nene getting her ideal shoujo manga style date night with Hanako was so cute omg. Handholding, riding a bike together, we won. Too bad Shijima annoying ass had to interrupt it lol.

I’m wondering who else has control of those paint brushes if Shijima is in control of the world, who’s the one giving hints and destroying the Shijima clones? At least we know there’s a door to the real world somewhere..

That ending!! My goat is back and in his villain era lol. No surprise Hanako was aware of everything the whole time, but I was surprised by him wanting this fake world just as much as Mitsuba did if not more. He’ll do anything to prevent his girl from dying, so real. But this isn’t the way to go about it and isn’t what she’d want. Right intention, wrong execution. Can’t wait to see how Mitsuba and Minamoto stop him.

Wow!! So it was really Hanako who was planning something with this world and it turns out that it's a world where Nene can live forever without dying within a year in the real world, but then who's the one who tried to help them and told Nene about the secret door to leave this world...

And so, Hanako finally reveals himself. Someone give him an Oscar's, honestly.

He reveals that Shijima's world can keep Nene alive, what a wonderful twist. The one who would help Nene and Kou is now the one standing against them...

This is the arc that just keeps on giving huh, just when I think they’re close to getting out, something else comes and gives them trouble, this time it’s Hanako himself. He tried to keep it secret for a bit longer but the previous episode pretty much confirmed it was him, now there’s no doubt since he’s shown himself in his classic garb, but damn now it all makes sense why he’s been hiding it all this time, I thought it was fucked up at first how he broke that brush and subdued Nene, but after hearing his reasoning it’s hard to say he’s completely in the wrong, so he’s a part of this because he’s using it to protect Nene from her predetermined death… I miss when this was just about getting back to the real world lol.

But even if Hanako is preserving this fake world for a good cause, I gotta disagree with him, there’s gotta be a better way to save her than keeping her imprisoned in a pocket dimension where she will never die, hopefully Kou and Mitsuba can knock some sense back into him and put him back on the right track. And lastly, I really enjoyed the bit of Nene running from all the Shijimas outside the school, it was kinda creepy but also amusing lol, no matter what I just can’t get scared of Shijima’s cute face.

Nene was getting really close to finding a way out. Even after he let the mask slip on the roof when Nene basically confessed Hanako still tried early on this episode to act like he didn't know what was going on. Trying to keep up that this world was all he knew when in fact it was the real Hanako underneath all along. I'm surprised that Hanako let Nene get so far along the path of finding a way out. I suppose he just indulged her since her memories of the real world will fade soon anyways. That little paint brush was really useful while it lasted. All those people in the streets turning into Shijima was pretty scary and showed just how strong her painted world really is. All that delay just for Hanako to snap her to sleep when they were just about to get the answers. Hanako has good intentions because he just wants Nene to live past that year timeline she has left. But running away to this fake painting world isn't the answer. Hanako is just running from the problem instead of solving it. Kou sort of convinced Mitsuba to help him last episode and now he's really gonna need his help to save Nene from Hanako and this fake world.

I figured that was Hanako's reason for being in the painting world, but I wasn't expecting there to be a deus ex machina to interfere. I wonder who is behind the phantom brush. Is it someone we know?

I can't help but wonder who/what the paintbrush was, though!!

Also, it's quite interesting how for Mitsuba, it was Tsukasa's idea for him to go to this painting world. And since I'm guessing that Hanako personally asked Shijima to create this world for his own motives, I can't help but wonder more about Shijima herself, since she seemed to listen to both the brothers to create this situation.

So amane kun was always just hanako kun 😶🫠, I could never tell, why and how did he enter shijima's world, kou kun and nene as well, who was behind that paintbrush and more.. it's getting more complex every episode.

I knew Amane was the real Hanako since the beginning and I can't blame him . I would do the same if that's the only way to keep Nene alive .
But damn we got another confession from Nene to Hanako/Amane ❤️

It was one of the most enjoyable episodes so far with the reuniting of Mitsuba & Kou & seeing Mitsuba's reformed personality with former fragments of his old self.
I also enjoyed seeing intimate bonding between Nene & Hanako in this season, showing us Hanako's history & so much more. With the plot twist at the end, it placed stress between the friendships of Nene, Hanako & Kou. I'm so hyped for the next episode!
