Of course, the cliffhanger was another fake out.

The rest of the episode was nice, at least. I liked the whole running late at night scene; it was sweet.

Damm what a card Taiki managed to get. Eating is defo part of the training regime. Chinatsu and Matsuoka defo make a great match. It actually was dangeous for Chi to go out running this late. Still it sure made for one hell of an interaction with the granny. Ayame the manager and temptress on the side lol. You really have to admire Hina's determination though.

Kyou is the greatest friend. Saved his ass there. LOL. Taiki is still conflicted between Chinatsu and Hina. He loves Chinatsu, but he also has feelings for Hina. Hina doesn't want an answer to her confession until he falls in love with her. I can understand this feeling tbh. It's the fear of rejection. And, it's gonna be so painful for her if she gets rejected. That's why she's not looking for that answer this quickly.

Everyone is in love. Chinatsu loves Taiki and Taiki loves her too but they are not sure. Hina loves Taiki and Taiki is confused about Hina. Everything is a jumbled mess. So, looking forward to what comes out of it.

Nice save by Kyo.

Taiki gave Hina her bag but was too nervous to even say good morning to Chinatsu on the way back.

Chinatsu, who's now more active, tugs his shirt when she sees his injured elbow, giving him a spare adhesive bandage. Fight!

After being worried all day, from Matsuoka assuming he's just a fan, to hearing Chinatsu is out running alone at night, he cracks a smile when he learns Chinatsu was gone so long because she was helping an elderly local.

The old man was about to give them sake or something lol
Arghhh, it might've been better to say nothing at all then to deny being her boyfriend or at least avoid that kind of tone.

Chinatsu noticing the moon was beautiful?

Hina's friend has figured it out but Hina has already confessed and is waiting for Taiki's reply, she's one to rely on some bonfire jinx.

The fall training camp continues. A card game left Taiki's head spinning when he gets a love confession card.

He mulls over his feelings for Chinatsu and Hina as the training continues. He is starting to look at Hina as a girl.

Better give some sort of answer by last two episode. This just feels dragging a bit. Only good thing is Ayamae antics.

Yeah I figured that Taiki would pick a guy to avoid an awkward situation with the girls and props to Kyo for the big assist on that.

Anyways, while Taiki ran after Chinatsu Hina searched for him, talk about a bad situation. It doesn't help that Ayame doesn't understand that Taiki likes Chinatsu as she thinks Chinatsu and the basketball player guy are a couple and that Hina and Taiki should be a couple... At this end of this mix-up I think Hina will unfortunately get burned...

God dammit.. I predicted last week that someone would cut in the middle of Taiki during that card game cliff hanger... although tbh, if he confessed.. that would've been awkward af. Wrong time, wrong place.

Haven't watched the entire thing, but losing interest quickly considering the end is very predictable ... there's all this mental gymnastic and his obsession with her and we have Hina but then she serves no purpose since we all know what is going to happen ...

I don't know Taiki is into the most at this point but what I do know is that he has a big crush on Chinatsu (and always will) but gets on better with Hina lol and he's starting to like her a little bit more now as well...

I think he will have to probably have less of a crush on Chinatsu to then ask Hina out if they want to get together and work out..

Homie covering for you by lowkey exposing you as homosexual. Truly a bro behaviour moment from Kyou.

"My favorite color is blue." We were so close to an epic title drop moment there D:

Enjoyable episode even though nothing much happened. Honestly, I think Taiki is giving way too much thought to something that's relatively simple but well. At least, it now seems he has finally come to a conclusion regarding his feelings. Next episode is gonna be interesting for sure.

Taiki got saved by Yusa during the king's game lol, but this episode proved once again how much Taiki cares about Chinatsu... so in the end it's just sad for Hina :(

Ah, Kyo saves Taiki once again! I wish I had my own Kyo in real life. Side characters in romance anime are always so selfless.

Honestly, I don’t have much to say about this episode. The scenes with saving the grandma, the bandage, and Taiki’s admiration, enough writing for now, onto episode 24.
I love slice-of-life works.

That basketball guy is what Taiki thought of Haryuu at first. He is kinda annoying, he talks in a condescending manner.

Seems like Taiki's cleared his head after that night run. Big decisions soon?

Kyou saved Taiki. He didn't have to answer, but I'm sure Hina and Chinatsu were very interested. Throughout this episode, Taiki is thinking about his feelings for Chinatsu and Hina. He's started seeing Hina as a girl rather than just his best friend. But he's still 100% into Chinatsu. After a day of training, Chinatsu went out running at night, and Taiki was a bit concerned that she's out there by herself. Matsuoka, the basketball player who lived in the US for a year, thinks Taiki's just a fan of Chinatsu's. He ran for quite some time, but found Chinatsu, who was carrying an old lady who had hurt her ankle. The two of them help her to her home, and her husband gives them a ride back after calling Taiki Chinatsu's boyfriend. The next day, Hina's friend told her about the bonfire jinx (legend in the subtitles) on the last night of the training camp. If you confess your love, that person must answer. Hina refuses to do so, as she wants him to do it at his own pace.

I feel so sorry for Hina. Just a great girl, and it's so hard to see her be so forward about her feelings for Taiki, but he's just not into her. Sure, he thinks of her as his best friend, but he loves Chinatsu. Sometimes, it's hard to watch the uncertainty, as I know what it's like. I think most people know what it's like. This is one of the most real romance series I've ever seen. The characters are so real, and their feelings are incredibly real.
