| Hanako getting jealous is kinda cute. This episode had that fluffy feeling with the festival, fireworks, etc. Glad they got to enjoy the outdoors fun than being stuck behind that mystery school. Nene definitely made some memories here. |

| Not your usual summer festival episode, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t amazing, that ghost realm summer festival was a lot of fun just like a real one. Nene also looked adorable in that yukata, Kou and Hanako were understandably stunned, but of course Hanako couldn’t help but make a daikon joke to mask his feelings lol, also sad we didn’t get to see yukata Yako in full glory like the manga panel eye catches showed but I guess that’s inevitable if she stays in her fox form. And there were lots of good bits during the festival, but Nene getting run over by a cow and ending up in the past was where things got real when she encountered human Hanako in 1964 (just a year before the Grateful Dead formed), I really liked her short moment with this version of Hanako in Season 1 so I like that there’s more. And even tho there was no shortage of goofiness like Nene turning to dust and even having her legs made fun of by this Hanako, it definitely enters the feels department during the fireworks scene and when Nene had to leave, wasn’t expecting that kiss but it was really sweet, also funny how Nene had to return to reality by getting hit by a cow again lol. And turns out Hanako didn’t wish to be an astronaut after all, he wished to see Nene again which I absolutely saw coming, I’m kinda proud of myself for that one lol, but it was a really nice end to the episode. Overall this was a really chill one which I’m happy to have because I’m sure things will get more serious pretty soon, I’ll never turn down some wholesome goodness with this cast, also ngl that static effect for the preview of the next episode’s title kinda spooked me lol. |

| TWO KISSES IN BACK TO BACK EPISODES??! HANANENE STANS WE HAVE ARRIVED!! Such a good episode omg! Nene looked so pretty in her yukata, but present day Hanako-kun has to get better at complimenting lmao. I’ll cut him some slack since he been a ghost for 60 years, but cmon. No daikon comparisons! 😂 The time travel mini arc was so cute. It’s adorable how innocent and shy Amane was back then. Breaks your heart when you realize the tragedy that would unfold a few years later. But maybe that kiss Nene gave him will change something? Feel bad again for Kou getting cucked in back to back episodes lmao. Nene took him to this festival to cheer him up and she doesn’t even know why he’s upset.. at least this week he didn’t have to see the kiss, but its pretty funny the very person he’s trying to save is making progress with the other guy in back to back eps lmao. |

| An episode that was both sweet and sad at the same time, that wish was a hit below the belt. |
| Classic festival episode, but this time the trio went to the Youkai festival. I thought the wish thing would work for Yashiro or Kou, but it was for someone else. Will this time travel show that Yashiro already knew Hanako when he was still alive? 🤔 Because his wish came true since he met her again in the future. |

| Another great episode! So many cute moments between our trio and the Mokkes making Mokke deliveries omg so cuuute! It's been so long since I read this part of the story in the manga and it was kind of heartbreaking to think that maybe this was the moment that finished derailing things for Amane, but perhaps not? |

| Wow okay it was definitely interesting to see Nene going back in the past in the 60s and meeting Hanako while he was young and alive... definitely not the kind of summer festival episode I expected but I should have known after seeing them attending the dead world summer festival first ahah |

| Woah, two kisses already? Jeez, Nene... Now seriously, I'm genuinely fascinated by how well this show handles the balance between wholesomeness and bitterness. Another 5/5 episode. Nene in yukata looked lovely, btw. |
