And the ones which I already have and will continue to listen to, with varying degrees of frequency, outside of the context of watching the anime series they belong to themselves, such as saved in a favorites' playlist on YouTube, converted to an mp3 file to listen to on my iPod in the car, etc. There are a few from Sousou no Frieren, not to mention The Apothecary Diaries, as well, but I consider those 2023 series. Some sublime music no doubt, but as for being the best year for OSTs, I can't say that. I think that I even prefer the prior year, 2023, which had the OST of Tengoku Daimakyou, which had some of my top favorite, maybe my very top favorite, songs of the whole 2020s decade for anime thus far. Or going even further back and talking about it in the context of all years, then the best years for me would probably be ones like 2000, 2004, and 2006, when some of my favorite series and favorite music of all time (in anime and you can even say generally, across all mediums and artforms - in life period) attached to them were released. |

| My favorite was the Ost that played during the infinity castle sequence. Demon slayer nailed its Osts again this year. It had the best Osts from any anime in 2024. Frieren also has good Osts. |
