| Oh boy, this season has these students dealing with dragons. Not exactly an easy task. We also got a look at the underground world and the dark secrets within there. Anos stood this ground this episode and I do find it interesting how they're building more into the story's lore and overall world fiction. They really should be more careful around dragons though. |

| No surprise that summoning a dragon went awry. Erdomaid trains the students to slay a dragon, but their practice inadvertently summons a real one. Anos and his students embark on a perilous journey into the dragon's nest and descend into the underground world of draconids. Led by their attacker from the previous night, Ahide, they make their way to the Institute of the Gods, Everastanzetta. There, Anos learns that he is entangled in the Selection Trial, an event that is held to determine which mortal would become a proxy of the gods. Episode was a big lore dump, which only means that things are about to get crazy. |

| The plot continues to develop with the introduction of a pretty interesting underground world. We understand a little bit better the characters introduced last time. |
| Anos wasn't satisfied by giving that goddess basically god cancer but then proceeded to move faster than light. ED by Tomori Kusunoki, nice! |

| The CGI dragons were kind of cute in their own crappy way, just like the Wise Mystical Tree from the first part of season two. |

| Lore starting to get a little crazy in Maou Gakuin. Really good episode, but couldn’t help but feel lost at times with the sheer amount of information being dropped on us. Still a little confused on the concept of summoning gods and this divine selection process, but I like that we’re finally getting stuff that even Anos doesn’t know about. His knowledge from 2000 years™️ ago will only go so far. Ok wtf was that CGI for the dragons too?? I swear it’s like this studio have never done CGI before. Between this and the tree from cour 1, some of the worst CGI I’ve ever seen. Kamikatsu has it beat, but still really bad. CGI aside, the fight between Anos and Gazel was cool, always nice to see Anos just flex and annihilate people. Bro went into the fight so confident that he could beat Anos with his god summoning and just gets wrecked, classic. It’ll be interesting to see who selected Anos and created this whole underground world. Could be the goddess that we saw in episode 1? There’s also the issue of Arcana and her selection candidate. Seems like she kinda wants to help Anos and knows her candidate is full of shit.. Solid lore dump episode, excited for this arc. |

| OMFG are the animators trying to get us to drop this series, or is it some competition to get meme jokes out of terrible CGI like the CGI tractor/dragon from Kaminaki??? Those dragons were so bad I need eyebleach! Please no more horrible dragons. Couldn't find much to like about this episode other than his epic voice ... so that is really, REALLY bad. |

| Well Arcana(?) the female god seemed interesting. The other guys seemed pompous. That guy couldn't even tell that that God was taking all the damage for him, only cared about himself. I'm still a bit confused as to this whole process, so I think a rewatch is in order. |

| The training between both the Demon King and Hero Academies, the latter group think that they still can have them beat. But the hideous CGI dragons, they're of KamiKatsu quality, but even worse. And that is the objective of the training: a game of tag with the dragons, until Anos decides to tag it instead, revealing a history of which he hasn't got an idea about the Underground World and said place of Everstanzetta, where the Judgement Selection is held. Reaching in Gaelahesta instead, the Institute of the Gods, Anos is bestowed his place of the Selection of Eight from the god who dragged him into this affair. Anos, Misha and Sasha trying to decipher the history of the Underground World and its creation, and with a wee bit help from their observations, they're able to do so. But even with one of the Holy Knights, Gazel, Anos can easily take gods down even without the help of one. The Misfit has credit to his name, taking down Gazel, him being a disciple of Giordal, his use is no more. Even with Arcana besieging her position, her warning Anos is a rather fit of faith even when he is their enemy, it's up to Anos to take her word for it. Even with Tomori Kusunoki coming back for another ED, this still has yet to cook. |

| Nice Ed.We got to see Dragon Fighting training scene.Not gonna lie it was funny. Anos along with Sasha and Misha goes to The Underground World.More insights into the world lore.Yeah it's pretty clear Arcana is not really an enemy to Anos.She seems lonely,and I bet Anos will save her. And Anos once again destroys any opponent he faces,he is too strong.They should really stop underestimating him.Overall,a good episode.I am eager to see what really is going to happen next episode. |

| The one anime YouTuber I follow happened to make a video on Misfit, but man it’s a shame the thing that got it attention was that terrible CGI on the dragons in an otherwise good episode lol, yeah they looked very very bad. In some scenes it kinda worked but others like when Anos defeated them not so much, but at least we didn’t see them again after Anos went down a wormhole into some underground city, yeah it seems kinda random but Misfit has always kinda felt that way lol. And it was here Anos encountered one of the selected 8 with that bald fellow, he seemed formidable but I knew immediately that he was about to be clowned on, accidentally killed one of his own gods and then got melted by that Cardinal Ahid after Anos killed his other god lol, definitely more than emotional damage on that guy. Arcana at least reincarnated him tho which was nice of her, she definitely seems like she’s not as into this whole judgment selection thing like the cardinal is. And we got the ED this episode by the same artist as season 1’s ED, and it is indeed a banger, we got a great OP and ED combo for this cour. |

| They're throwing all these stupid buzzwords around that to me it's like they enter one ear and out the other, I can't retain all these info cause I find them ridiculous lol. All I know is two things: those people who live underground are descendants of dragons and they're basically a different race than demons and humans. And the other thing: one of the gods is yet another little girl named Nutella. Fucking hell |

| A more dialogue heavy episode focused on the underworld of descendant of dragons who consume cores. That's were the institute of gods is and all these trials will be held. Well, that's no issue for Anos who quickly dispatched of that bald guy by being faster than the speed of light (btw, was that goddess not wearing any clothes?). Not really sure what the green haired dude was explaining other than he's trying to get stronger in order to properly challenge Anos. Oh, the opening sequence is OK, not as good as previous ones but still a bit catchy though not as flashy. The ending is a pass for what it is, didn't expect much else. |

| Okay that dragon definitely one of the worst. But i do agree, i kinda forget the dragon cg because of how adorable goddess Arcana can be! Now try to understand why she's willing to follow those dude farce act like crazy shit, and perhaps Arcana can be salvage as well, like those baldy ignorant man. Because she's truly giving away too much of hint at this point. Tho the Selected Eight at the human palace seems like a surprising place to start a fight. So let's see how Anoshu deal with those shady doing.... |

| I have no idea wtf is going on... What's the point of this underground city? Why am I supposed to care about Draconids or how these dragons give birth to them? The lore dump about the city & the underground world made no sense to me either, but that's probably because I was confused about the rest to begin with. No idea why this selection process is even a thing, or why that other chosen selection guy wanted to attack Anos to begin with (or what they were even talking about during the battle with the god summoning power nonsense). S2 part 1 did this to me too, but I guess I'll just have to go back & watch through all of this again if I really get too lost. |

| I think after watching this episode I noticed why I like other anime with an overpowered protagonist more than this. Aside from the nonsensical plot, it's also the fact that at this point the MC does all the fighting. In other shows the sidekicks, who are also strong, get some spotlight, but in this show they just stand aside while the protagonist crushes his enemies, which is just boring to watch after the 5th time. |
