| Well, it's great to know that their Juliet and Romeo performance went well. The episode paired up Keiya and Isaku together to give them time to bond, including going into a haunted house together and enjoying firework together. Now that Tanuki is out of their lives, they can feel safer |

| About damn time Tanuki left. Isaku and Keiya, who somehow managed to make the staging of Romeo and Juliet a success, had become a recognized couple by everyone. On the other hand, Tanuki, who successfully concluded the cultural festival, was about to leave the school. Despite being told, "Even if I'm not around, Izumi-chan might be in danger. Poor thing," Isaku was much calmer than before. Although there might be many challenges ahead, she had still decided to be with Keiya. I hate how they give Tanuki a whole scene on his farewell like I'm supposed to miss him.. as if he didn't just try to rape Isaku the previous episode. Oh well at least he's gone for good I hope. Naturally, a "high-school romance" story wouldn't be complete without the customary school festival, and indeed, it was quite cute imo. To top it off, we even experienced a two-in-one special – not only a school festival but also a delightful mini fireworks episode! Damn ten episode done already? Only two left. |

| "How boring" --Tanuki, the rapist I really want to drop this anime so... damn... badly! Missing sound effects, missing lip movements, lip movements when nobody's talking anymore, some of the most spontaniously cheap and ugly animation I've ever seen, model sheets seemingly being ignored, animation errors, animation errors IN THE FUCKING FLASHBACKS (Groomer m8's mouth doesn't even move when he says "Isaku-san"), attempted rape, rape apology, grooming, ugh... I'm too far in to drop, but god damn I envy the people who can drop it this late in. It's just not even fun to point at this anime and say "look at how bad it is". It's just so bland now.  Seriously, is she about to explode into a bunch of human giblets and reveal her true spider-like abomination form?! The fuck is wrong with her?!?! Why is this laugh animation the most fucking cursed 5 seconds of animation I've seen?! |

| Yea I’m sorry, I’m never going to be able to just look past the fact that Tanuki literally tried to rape Isaku. And her just walking him out/seeing him off like nothing happened is so fucking bizarre. The whole use of the Romeo and Juliet play as a means of preventing her from really going off on him is just odd, but then even after the play went well still chatting casually with him? That aside, Keiya’s work friend being introduced had an interesting set up but they didn’t really take advantage of that. Would’ve been a great opportunity for a little bit of a love triangle between someone Keiya should be with age wise and the ultimate target of his affection, Isaku. Instead, they’re just friends and she’s rooting for isaku.. I think the story needs some legit sort of emotional drama really. Like even the age gap thing isn’t being properly explored. I still like this show despite its flaws, but it’s not fulfilling its potential. At least the last scene with Isaku and Keiya was cute “idk how long I can sit still” man just go for it at this point lol |

Anime or slide show? Can it get any cheaper with production? Apart from the rapey stuff being casually downplayed, it might have been pretty good with some effort thrown at it 😟
| @FutoiOtaku It ain't effortless. There's at least two efforts total, which counts as some. Just ignore that those two efforts are the OP and ED, and not the actual episode. |

@FutoiOtaku It sucks, because the artstyle (NOT the anime adaptation's artstyle, but the manga's artstyle) is drop-dead gorgeous, and unlike anything else I've ever seen. I still hate the ship of Isaku with her brother/mother/father/grandfather/great-grandfather/lord/owner/pet-doggy/bodypillow/gun/bodyguard and boyfriend Keiya, but Project No.9 ain't even doing the manga's artstyle any justice. Like, they turned Isaku into fuckin' ET in episode 6! EUGH!! |

| I really liked the manga for this, despite the Great Plains as foreheads/wavy eyes/assault attempt(s). And I was INSANELY excited to see Keiya finally off the page and animated, with the perfecttttt VA to boot. But man…I never ever want to look at this IP in any format ever again. It has legit ruined how I see all of these characters (especially Keiya) and it has somehow managed to get worse with each week. HOW??? Why even put money into a project but no effort at all? I really don’t get it. I’ve watched horrible 2003 hentai with way less budget and more fluidity/better art than this. Massive L for project no9 |
| Oh well, the Romeo and Juliet drama is so over, and as Tanuki puts it: How boring (that he could not have fun with Isaku justifying raping her, yeah, that's not right at all). Despite Tanuki hanging around just a bit, the danger of just living by Keiya in a criminal's world, Isaku always chose him each and everytime. If anything, being with Keiya makes her stronger, as they proceed with the 2nd day of the cultural festival. Indeed, being Romeo and Juliet does make them look like a couple, and as much as Keiya wants to act cuddly in front of Isaku, he does get his favour. Continuing on with the haunted room, Keiya being like an actual demon is low-key hilarious, and as much fortune telling is done, Keiya wants to break the mold, though seeing a woman he knows...what's the deal about her? Apparently, this Kaori Sekiya is Keiya's work colleague, though she's been wanting to meet Isaku for quite the while. However, the tinge of jealousy that Isaku has about Kaori that Keiya disputes is not his girlfriend, he only cares about her being a bad dog to her. Isaku, make your heart clear about Keiya... |

| At least sorta cute moments between Isaku and Keiya but i cant get too into it since i dont really like his character. I explained this in a post last episode discussion (not to you though to my recall) that I think it makes more sense narratively to not look at it as an attempted rape because it is ambiguous to the viewer how far he was willing to go with that seeing that his whole stated intent was just to piss off Keiya so he would go after him and give him an adrenalin rush being endangered. It seemed like he expected Keiya to break free but with his personality he is difficult to read. But from this perspective Isaku is just an understanding person who is used to criminal motives like that. But even that aside he still kidnapped her and Keiya at knife point under threats so yeah how she acts she seems a little too relaxed around Tanuki yet then again it isnt her first time being kidnapped and Keiya being there reassured her she would be fine like the last time. Though i may be giving the writer too much benefit of the doubt on making a story that makes sense how characters act. If she just seemed a bit more uneasy and untrusting around Tanuki at school that would be in a believable range. And yes her having Tanuki join the play as Romeo made no sense when she knew Keiya memorized Romeo's lines so she should have been who told him to take another role, since the whole point was for her to have a normal school life so her brushing things aside under the bridge does make sense just it was very poorly presented to the viewer on what to make of the actions of any character. | I hate to say it, but this was the episode that got me to drop my score from a 7 to a 6, the art and animations in this one were probably the worst so far imo, maybe not the art but the animations especially, mainly a lot of mouths moving and not moving when they’re not supposed to, and you also had the new girl Kaori laughing like a demon crawled out of hell and possessed her in that moment, like yeah these flaws are funny but they also absolutely take me out of what would otherwise be a good show. Only thing so far I think the show has done badly in the story department is the stuff with Tanuki, the situation with him was so serious but afterward it was treated like he did nothing at all, and it was almost rape too, not something I think you should get to walk away from like he was a good friend lol. But that’s the only thing for me that I haven’t liked with the story so far, this one had some great moments like the school festival stuff, I especially loved when Keiya scared the “ghouls” in their own haunted house lol, and you also had that last moment where they were watching the fireworks which was nice too, although I was trying to remember if fireworks are used often for school festivals lol, I can’t remember actually. But oh well, there aren’t many episodes left, so I hope I can enjoy this somewhat up to the end, but man Project No. 9 really let us down here. |
| Cute interactions again, Isaku's adorable. She really gives in very easily when it comes to Keiya. They've become popular now thanks to the play. Good to see Kaori again, need more of her. |

| Ugh I had a whole paragraph written out about this episode and the page refreshed and now its gone :)))) llong story short, the animation was so bad this episode. They did the manga so dirty /: after what happened with blondie, why is Isaku so comfortable around him by herself?? She's so stupid lmao There were scenes where the characters were talking but their mouths weren't moving, the side profiles are cursed, and Isaku's eyes move up and down her face. Buut, the firework scene was so cute ahhhh |

| I still can't figure out if I'm high or they were high. Is this a masterpiece? Was all this groomer plot just a gateway for the animators to make a physical comedy anime? Who knows? |

Oh man..  I found it pretty funny for about half the episode.. then it just kept sinking in how far the quality has dropped, the whole episode kinda felt lifeless to me and kind of made me feel a bit sad.. |
| Mikio leaves the school. Isaku seems to be sure of her feelings now. Kaori, the one who kissed Keiya couple of episodes back, came to see Keiya in school uniform. She’s rooting for Isaku which is unexpected. Isaku wonders what she is to him, and he denies her being his girlfriend. He hugs her and tells he can’t wait for long. Dude, just confess it to her instead of making it uncomfortable for everyone. |
