Here we are at the final of Onimusha. Overall the series was quite enjoyable and i wish more people were to watch it may not be the best but its good. As for the final it was good i liked the final fight between Musashi and Sasaki, also Musashis oni form was very nice i liked the aura that surrounded him. Also its tragic how the guy with glasses went out i liked him. In the end this was good series in my eyes the from the emotional moments to action packed fights i liked. The song used at the end of the final episode was beautiful.

Alright I finished it. I didn't really like it honestly.

It tanked pretty hard for me after the first episode. Nothing was well explained and it just felt like random shit was happening. Like the seventh episode Musashi's rival is suddenly back from the dead (also like... he had a rival? Literally first time we learn about it lol) and we get their epic fight where he has all these sword arts we've never seen before... and this is after we had a whole season building up lemon. And then lemon ended up being a total disappointment (also why the hell is his name lowercase???). He's just a crazed guy wanting to take over the world. He wasn't even fun crazy, just boring crazy. I didn't really connect with any of the characters because we didn't know much about them. Musashi was cool, but we didn't learn much about his back story to build a deeper connection. It felt like there was another season we missed that built up all these character relationships. I know it's based on a game, but they have to make this a bit more accessible to newcomers so we can understand what the hell is even happening. Sayo was the only character that really had an arc, but she was just lame to me--just a typical brat kid. Nothing really stood out about her. Also, I don't even think they explained what a Genma was.... it's just another demon thing, I guess?

The 3D animation was good, but the story was bland and the characters just kind of existed. Overall, I'd give it a 4/10.

According to Netflix it got 1.8 million views and 6.8 million hours viewed in its first week. That's pretty good considering the run time (for context, Pluto had more than double the run time and didn't rank at all in the Netflix top 10). So while it may not have been too popular on MAL or other social media, it definitely reached a sizeable audience.

Musashi like the monster that he is took a oar for his final battle damn! He also accidently guessed about the 3 villains/traitors amongst the group. Glad to see that Sayo made it out with a piece of gold and she will now live a better life.

I actually wish this would have been just straight up samurai drama without all the supernatural stuff. There was also big missed opportunity when it come's to Musashi's background because the third Yoshioka brother was just 12 year's old when he got killed by Musashi.

Finished it. The animation is absolutely terrible. Story is confusing af. Characters look like poop. Honestly can't get past how bad the 3D animation looks. It's as if this series was made by people who have never seen an anime before. It's missing all the elements. I regret watching it. Another garbage Netflix anime.
