| Another cute episode of Jess and Pig hanging out together around town. Seems repetitive but it's the root of the show for now. Pig has a rather carefree personality and tbh, he acts like a human but in a pig's body. I hope story develops a bit more. Somewhat slowed paced right now. |

| Outside of the house already eh? Jess and Pig, prepare for a journey to the royal capital. However, Pig is worried about how Jess has no suspicion towards him, even though he may look like a pig on the outside, he's a guy on the inside. While being bewildered by the innocent girl's every move, he follow Jess, who says she wants to buy something, and they head towards the lively city of Kiltri. That's when they enter a dark alley and it's up to Pig to save the day and leads Jess out of the alley. I'm pretty intrigued to uncover the narrative behind this series and to understand Jess's backstory. It's the most eagerly awaited new episode among all the shows I'm currently watching. Not necessarily because it's the finest show or the most enjoyable experience, but rather because it seems to offer the most unique blend. Pig is so plump that it appears the collar could simply slip off his neck. Moreover, it seems like something unfortunate might befall Jess, perhaps she'll be compelled to resort to drastic measures. Man that OP is not only a banger but the visuals are so cute accompanying it. This anime just keeps on getting more and more ridiculous.. And I'm all here for it. |

| They should've translated this as "ButaLiver" or something instead of "Butareba". レバー (rebaa) in the title literally means liver. For some reason the f's appear to be missing in the subs? I immediately thought about Dance Dance Revolution when I saw those tiles too! That scene was quite funny 19:16 This suggests that they are being replaced so only young ones are actually employed as servants. Why are Yethmas being being discriminated against in the first place? The episode title is a reference to a Japanese saying: 豚もおだてりゃ木に登る - Even a pig will climb up a tree if flattered. Maid Jess 🙏 21:50 I thought I heard a phone ringing here lol |

| Selling yourself if you're a pig seems pretty risky lol. Ngl, I was prepared to dislike this series, but found myself enjoying this episode. The dance was a highlight. |

| At this point, after reading both the LN and manga synopsis that do not mention anything like that at all, I think that's a brain fart (or they willingly added it because of something sick in their mind kek) of whoever wrote the anime synopsis. The plot doesn't seem to be about that at all, and there isn't any possible motive for her to want to eat him at this point. He keeps her company and his knowledge is useful. Also she has lots of normal pigs if she wants some ham or roasted pork rib lol. |

| Jess and the pig are off to a shopping date in the nearby town, though her reasoning to go there is to purchase ristae from the black market, especially black ones that would fulfill a wish. That said, the pig has enough reason to have suspicion on peddlers selling to Yethmas like Jess, and indeed, she used one and a yellow one to heal him. And if she bought more, she would've been swindled out of her money. Therefore, going back into the ristae shop, Jess follows the pig's guidance to haggle out from the shopkeeper, which because she belongs to House Kiltyrin and also being a Yethma maid, Jess exactly doesn't have a heap of money, but the pig does have a plan for Jess to sell it as well to get the black rista at a discount. But telling it to dance, the DDR-like setting is just ridiculous lols, and since the festival is tonight, the pig can afford the night, but has to make a run after the festival to avoid a killing. The escape mission for the pig, and maid Jess is a beauty. |

| That was cute Jess doing a little fakeout prank about changing. Apparently Jess is smarter than Buta-san / Mr Pig / whatever you want to call him. He very well should have known it would be a bad idea to be sold to some random guy where he could be slaughtered for food and having a front of doing tricks helps reduce risk he would be killed. |

| I really have no idea what Im watching but its just so fun. And the world building is subtle in throw away comments and characters standing about. My trotters are stomping, this could be a a major squuepig event. |

| The developments in the story are slowly starting to get interesting. It's really a relaxing type and more silence. And you should enjoy this guys, because I'm sure this story will be good. |

| Wow I didnt actually expect them to pull back on the ecchi stuff. I'm really happy they have cause this episode was a lot more enjoyable. Bumped the series up from a 6 to a 7. If the series continues like this episode I think it'll be pretty decent. |

| This series so far has been a pretty entertaining watch especially with watching a pig do DDR dances lol. I also like how Jess sometimes responds to the pig's inner monologue. Also, yes maid Jess looked very cute, I'm assuming she's wearing that because of the festival. Anyways, hopefully the pig will escape unscathed but I think Jess may end up being suspected as being an accomplice... |
