Is it just me or does the CGI not look bad at all?

I've seen many people who said that it looks bad/trash, but honestly this one feels acceptable compared to the other Netflix CGI anime. Are people hating this because it looks genuinely bad and I'm just blind, or are people just overreacting and saying it's bad because "Netflix CGI anime = bad"?

I defend cgi all the time and I personally think this looks pretty bad. It just hits that uncanny valley for me. And I like plenty of cgi shows Ajin, and Houseki no Kuni to name a couple.

Can you explain what's bad about it? The lightning, movement, or other aspect? Guess I'm not sharp enough to see what's wrong with this.

it's pretty alright tbh don't know how anyone can call this bad there has been more egregious uses of cgi in anime. When I watched I thought I was gonna hate it but continue to watch it cause I have a soft spot for sci-fi and ended up pleasantly surprised by it.

Knights of Sidonia was have much more better CGI's but if we remember majority of previous Original Anime works (High Rise Invasion, Record of Ragnarok, Lookism, Memories of Idhun, Trese etc) this show can be considerable as "watchable"

The way things move is kind of janky and ugly, but the art style itself is fine. It's stylised, but I got used to it, and by the end it felt right.

The animation on Bunny Miku felt better though. I wouldn't be surprised if she had a higher frame rate, but it might just be because she had a simpler model. Absolutely adorable either way.

while I think some of the character designs look ugly at times, no this CG is goated. some sequences took my breath away

I usually avoid CGI-style animes but this one was still watchable. I just found Bunny Miku's movements to be completely unrelated to her statements so just unnecessarily distracting. They should have made that more consistent.

I think the CGI itself is pretty fine maybe it is the art design that people are not liking it.

But I think the real problem lies with the over-killed camera movement. I mean watching this anime is like riding a boat into a storm.
