How strange is that story of the monks/Buddhists (I don't know which of these 2 they were)

Poor boy, he suffered a lot of abuse from that girl, and by the way I didn't understand the ending much
I'm not a critic or anything like that but I like to give my opinion

'Unbearable Maze' has a nice creepy ending and Bully was a very good little tale with a very fitting over-saturated art style. Another decent episode. It seems like the episodes are much stronger in this second half, beginning with 6 than the start which is a little strange and could put off viewers, at least overall it holds up better than 'collection'.

Since the above poster didn't understand the ending i'll try and explain.

The first story conveyed that overwhelmed feeling
In the second story, I couldn't even look at how that bad girl treated little Nao so badly, but in the end he risked it as revenge, but the poor son is not to blame for anything and now he has to put up with the mistreatment of that crazy woman.

The mummies staring at them were so creepy it was funny lol.

Poor kid in the end. His parents are messed up, especially his mom. :/

That mummified monk look on the face was like "what're you doing here little f***cks" 🤣

Second story is really tragic, a bully will always be a bully.

The best episode since the first one. First story had a really good vibe. Obviously could have been great if not for the studio animating this. The second story was really f'd up.

The second story is the only part that made me uncomfortable and wince in the whole anime for now. No ghosts, monsters or anything else, but the most creepy story for me since it felt so real.

Defo the bully one is a bit uncomfortable to watch. The maze one was cool, scary concept at least, labyrinth of mummified bodies gazing at you.

I like when sects/religion are being involved in a creepy way, I'm just a little sad the story ended abruptly. 2nd one was disturbing with the bullying, and her child is taking her revenge, poor boy :(

I don't think any of those girls would have been harmed by the ascetic monks, in a sense they were more safe in those catacombs then in the school where one of them got bullied. The practice of Nyujo has been banned in the XIX century - I don't even understand why it existed to begin with when in principle it seems to have been opposing the Middle way the Buddha tought.

The second story is horrifying and what's even more horrifying is that people like Noriko do exist even in real life.

Unbearable Maze was a letdown. 2/5 I was bored and wasn't interested in anyone. How do you make mummified monks boring?? I'm not sure if a half-hour-long episode could have saved this one.

The Bully was astoundingly creepy and uncomfortable. She could have killed him at any point. The mental scarring and awkwardness made everything hard to swallow as well. I wonder if Nao knew she would become pregnant. Would he really have left her knowingly? Knowing what a monster she was? That would have also made him a monster. It will be a never-ending cycle if Hiro does the same. Amazing 5/5

The maze is just another story that felt incomplete.
That bully became a nightmare fuel for her own son.

Two new shorts
The first, about a hidden cult in the mountains and strange mystery.
The second, a girl who humiliates a small boy!

The first was simple, the second horrible, showed the human miseries!!!

The abuse story was hard to watch 😢😢. Poor Naoya chan, and now his son. That's no revenge for what she did, she is still having fun abusing him...

Now that I’m watching this older than the first time I did, I understand more what happens in the second story. As soon as Kuriko said that Nai was not at home, I knew in that moment that he was doing that as a revenge for the abuse he received as a child. I almost cried, seriously.

Going raw vegan is a punishment, in and of itself. Those creepy eyes just staring at them. In a religious way, it reminds me of "the discerning eye". Basically, when people would sin, they would swear that the pastor would know it. They all claimed that the pastor looked at them, as he preached a sermon against the sin that they had just committed. It's just a coincidence, but the people who claim it are so scared.

The last story is the cycle of abuse. She abused a boy and got pregnant by him, and now she's left as a single mother suffering the same fate.

The second story is really great on its own, but it's that contrast when it's bundled with the more fantastical stories that makes it all the more terrifying.
