| Damn, this anime is really good, I think out of all of them the priest got the worst of them all, he was on his way to his promotion only to be falsely accused which'd ruined his whole life, wtf was Miril even thinking seriously, why did she do that? well we never got to hear what happened to the dragonoid since she was too drunk, i think Tiana and Nick's wasn't that bad, on Nick's case it wasn't because he was weak or anything, I think Argas was only trying to look out after him since he did raised him after all he said he should look for a place he's far suited for. For Tiana's case well she left everything on her own accord after her breakup with her ex, I guess she was just heartbroken |

| I really like how they tell everyone's story, and how they ended up here. A great way to get to know everyone. So the next episodes might be interesting to see. Oh, and the character design is also pretty nice! |

| Better start than I expected. The dragon girl is cute and so is the mage. Like the character designs in general and the visuals/animation is decent too. Let's see how things go. |

| Ah yes... Another Betrayed and Kicked out of Party MC that will end up as OP and take revenge against the original Party. ___ ___ ___ Tho... Somehow.. this Fantasy & Magic style World with Medieval Wears... HAS FRICKING IDOL CUTLURE WITH MODERN LIGHTS AND EQUIPMENTS ? ? ? HUH ? ? ? It's so out of place.... If they were magic based Idols or setting... it would have been a lot more convincing. I mean... the Inns and Buildings in Town literally look like a pre-1950's village and most people dress up like RPG adventurers in plate armor, chain mail, leatherwear... etc etc... Yet... they also have modern equipments like LED Lights, Umbrella, Plushies and apparently Batteries.... (but only in certain parts of the world... while most buildings remain lower tech) ___ ___ ___ If I didn't know, I would have thought this was another "VR Game" plot-line... Where MC lives in modern world, and plays the game in a Fantasy World. (aka like a lesser version of Bofuri-style anime) ___ ___ ___ Also, the mage's story, so she was part of the "villainess" trope. The Cleric's story... so he was ruined by a Loli that pretended she was raped... huh... (we be doing that Priest Rapes Girls trope, LOL) Tho... later he stayed at a place to help a girl with her "back problem" (I seriously can't tell if he really fixed her back pain legibly or... he "snu-snu" the back pain away...) And I wonder what was the "important thing" that was taken away from the Demon/Dragon? Girl? (the way she makes it sound like "snu-snu" but her drunk self makes it sound like it was some sort of object) ___ ___ ___ |

| We get introduced to our band of disillusioned heroes in this first episode. They have all been scorned, betrayed, and in turn, turned their back on the world to go their lonely way. Each of them has faced deeply personally scarring experiences and has deeply rooted attachment and trust issues. In this first episode, we get a general backstory on how each of them came to this state of solitude and dis-attachment. This story is not about a good, go-lucky set of adventures that go on to save the world. No, this is a story of a set of people from very different walks of life that come together for anything but that. I do not feel we see too many stories that start from this darker and more grim perspective in fantasy anime as a whole. There have been a few recent examples, but it is then probably a more recent trend, if anything. One of the characters in this show was excommunicated and banished from his home due to a false s*xual assault allegation. I could draw parallels to the modern-day world with this, but I shall refrain. I will be very interested to see how these people handle and deal with their deeply personal and damaging psychological experiences, or if the show will just gloss over it and continue with the coming plot without mentioning much about it ever again. One of the most unique and interesting potential messages and stories in this anime would be about how these people handle their psychosocial trauma and work through it. If they are even able to. Very rarely do you get an anime that can, or wants to explore these sorts of aspects of characters and story, as it is not only challenging but also tough to write and explore from a creative standpoint. Now, how will our heroes deal with their difficulties and work together? We will just have to see as the season progresses.  |
| That was entirely not what I expected. Based on synopsis and cover I thought it will be some edgy fantasy adventure... but then in frist minute our MC says that he became idol otaku. Others aren't much better. Tho what's up with dragon girl's backstory? Anyway, I liked what I saw. It might be a rather unique anime after all. |
| Wow, I decided on a whim to give this a chance, and I'm glad I did. This is kinda good. Tiana is hilarious, the Cleric is such a good guy (but I hope he gets revenge. I just picked up "Revenger" today as well, so yeah give me more revenge baby), and the dragon girl is giving me Power vibes. Her backstory is kind of glossed over due to her getting drunk, but I have a feeling she has the most tragic story to tell of them all. Or maybe it's really petty, who knows. I love the end: "They will one day save the world, but that won't happen for a very long, long time." The animation is clean, I already love the characters, I'm really looking forward to more. |

| I am loving the premise of this anime, but when Tiana's ex-fiance is named Alex, it's quite laughable... and anger-inducing at the same time xD And in a manner similar to how I would get extremely jealous as well lol But I'm different. If I have a fiancee who takes my top spot at school, I'll even become more motivated to improve xD |
| not a bad first episode. the cleric's story was something i knew was gonna happen the moment they showed that little girl helping him, but that also turned him into a womanizer of sorts lol a gentleman womanizer perhaps? lol |

| First ep was pretty fun. I appreciated the humour, and having run many an AD&D game, told one player about this start of them all being scr**ed over. |

| Episode with a good start, something basic in history but at least it showed its characters and I think that matters a lot. |
| The bit with the little girl and the priest isn't likely to happen in a fantasy world, because they wouldn't have strict consent laws like we do today... I liked that they put that in however, because it's an uncommon commentary on a VERY REAL issue of the modern day. People are so phobic of pedo that they will instantly gang up on the mere possibility that someone might be one, and the idea that a young girl could sabotage someone this way is unfathomable to most, despite the reality that it is far from uncommon. In a realistic context, they could have made a relationship work, but due to society, it's impossible, as everyone reacts so extremely, including the girl who's been equally brainwashed by society. It's unusual to see such a commentary in anime, especially a random one like this. |

| Yaaaay a fantasy anime that isn't using the tired resurrection shtick, the 'kicked out of party' gimmick is easier to accept/swallow than ridiculous stories of depressed people reborn in a fantasy world in some lame-duck wish fulfillment scenario. At least these stories about party castoffs maintain a cohesive fantasy world, the 'escape reality' gimmick of fantasy world resurrection stories always comes off as waaaay too gimmicky and honestly downright silly to me. |
