| Seriously one of the best anime adaptations of a source material to this day. Many will agree that the anime is even better than the visual novel, all in just 24 eps. Also one of the highest quality anime of its era. KyoAni nailed this in every aspect. |

| Kanon was honestly so good. Sugita-type character on point. Tamura-type character on point. Opening animation on point. Ending animation on point. KyoAni delivering a legendary adaptation as always. |
| It's a bit too slow for current tastes, and the VN is extremely dated. It feels a lot less entertaining and emotionally manipulative compared to CLANNAD and Air so maybe thats why? |
| Clannad gets talked about a lot for good reason, but Kanon - in my opinion - is just as amazing as Clannad. I strongly agree that Kanon doesn't get enough credit, it's a masterpiece and should be regarded as such. |

| I like Kanon but it's not as if I love it or anything, baka. It feels very much like a rough draft of Clannad. Similar to the situation with Angel Beats and Little Busters. Angel Beats takes everything that makes Little Busters great but compresses it into half the number of episodes. |
