| It blows my mind how they all just decided to sympathise with the doctor so quickly.... like I don't think he is redeemable whatsoever, so that shinpei/tokiko convo is... ugh Also the teacher delivering the best dialogue by far in the whole show with her 30 secs of (flashback) screentime LMAO |

| At least they managed to pass the day and they're on the 23th now, Ushio grew her hair back and time for some shadow attack but they can't do everything right but so far it's fine for them, but better get ready for the festival... we'll see how it goes now |

| So much decision needs to be decide by Shinpei. Not only by taking care her former teacher. But also to be about meeting something mystery ahead, about the Shrine, and about Mio's talk later... Well forget about the latter, kay? Fuckin Ushio really just touched it easily xd |

| Regenerate your lost hair? Yeah, definitely more important than regenerating a lost limb... Waste of an episode. Nezu's wife? Shinpei and Ushio's elementary school teacher? Couldn't care less about them. They should have gone with Shide's backstory from the get go. Fanservice and comedy were also very out-of-place... again. |
| My theory is that the priest at the Hiruko shrine is Shide… there’s just something about that guy and it would make sense with the festival being the place where it all ‘ends’ |

| A more of a breather episode, don't really think Nezu's wife's shadow or the teacher parts were needed to be touched upon this much, juts for the sake of getting the point across about how much the shadows are desperate for the festival to take place, but it is what it is, I guess. Confrontation at the end, so following episode for sure is going to be an important one. |

| Better pacing, always better in the mystery elements. This group has REALLY convenient luck though. Their gamble paid off too well tbh. The story is all over the place with consequences, really jamming it all in. |
| Surprised it took this long to talk with the priest, you'd assume he'd be a prime target to replace with a shadow because the festival is so important. But Ushio would've detected if he was a shadow, so maybe he's immune? Or he's another human who's in on it, possibly the human inside Shide though that would make him really old. |

| I forgot about Karikiri's existence... hmm could he be the one inside Shide's body? But I was surprised when one of Ushio's eyes turned red. Will there be a moment where Shinpei has to kill Ushio? Anyway Nezu is so cool. He loves his wife but that doesn't mean he'll let her shadow live. His wife, and the shadow, are two different beings. Honestly, I was a little afraid that Shinpei would die (again). This episode reminds us of the time limit and Mio who wants to say something to Shinpei. If it turns out that Karikiri is the person inside Shide's body, I remember that Karikiri did not look sad at Ushio's funeral in the first episode. Although well, it doesn't mean that everyone should be sad at someone's funeral, but as a priest he can at least show sympathy. Uh. But I could be wrong. It might just be me thinking too far ahead. |
