This episode really has me torn. On one hand there is the stupid antagonist and his "Sorry, your princess is in another castle" tropes and the whole thing with Rishia but on another hand it was a fantastical midseason finale with the promise for an interesting latter part of the season. I am glad I kept watching despite many disencouraging comments. Hopefully, Fitoria gets to break the news to the other 3 cardinal heroes. I am getting so sick of them and they really have to grow the f up. Can't stand it to see Naofumi having to be the bigger man and swallow his anger. btw Naofumi being called out for having a harem. What a decent self-aware joke :D |

| Looks like they saved a lot of the budget for this episode. The scene when Naofumi had a new shield force-unlocked was super cool. Something about the MC becoming angelic and OP despite their protestations just hits right for me. Wasn't expecting them to suddenly chase the villain all the way to another world, but I mean it's not fair if only the villains can jump around right? |

| Why'd Naofumi chase after the otherworld party? Just let them chase Kyo on their own, not Naofumi's issue. The Spirit Tortoise issue has been solved anyway. Visuals were better this episode. Definitely wasn't as dull as the previous episodes. |

| INSANE RUSH, for this arc, what is ahead is as bad if not worst. They totally skipped another segment of Naofumi battling the Turtle and being EPIC shit, of course they skipped it, they already barely had budget or talent to do other shit right, so why not skip more so we can get this over quick... This series deserved way better, despite this arc being far from peak, it deserved more, at least the OST is doing wonders and helped a ton on this last episode, that also had much-improved animation. I will probably complain much more now as they butched this next arc more and more. |

| Ost's death was sad, but for me it wasn't that sad because I felt we could barely connect with her, because despise the massive amount of screentime they gave her, all of the set-up was so confusing and unexplained, that made her character not believeable. Her last scene was really well executed though, and I like how she showed to the Shield Hero that he now doesn't need to show his hatred shield, but instead a more hopeful power, because he isn't a bad person, like they made him believe back in season 1. Now, what happened to Rishia? That has to be the most sudden character development I've seen, and out of nowhere, she was able to defeat the Book hero, and surprass is magic because *she's good with her Ki*, I don't even know what Ki is, they didn't worry to explain that further, and just moved with the plot. Has to be the worst writing so far in the whole show. |
| They blew the budget on Rishia's initial fight sequence. So clear everything goes do far up in quality for that 10s. Then torpedoes itself. Almost comical. |

| I didn't like Rishia before but after listening to her eng dub counterpart, I was made to like her. Also, I shouldn't have dropped this before, but Rishia is so gallant and knightly here that it's ashame for her to still admire the bow hero. Anyway, I like her character more now. |
| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
| Well, I'm rewatching this story for the 3rd time and I still have so many questions about it. Why does he explain that it was soul energy and he's able to open portals with it, it's just energy isn't it? (Aren't you supposed to have some kind of device or incantation to use this energy to open portals?) Why is Reiki, a creature from Naofumi's world, able to grant the hero the ability to go to other worlds? Why can't he just invade other worlds? Why are the others able to invade other worlds (Lark's team and all that)? Especially how Reiki (Aust) is able to control Naomi's interface. What's that? (There's a priority system, Permission) Ah, a super important question, but at this point, I guess we still don't know why he's able to do it, but. But why is the other jerk able to open portals between worlds? How did Lark's team change worlds? (That could be explained by the fact that they followed the guy who could open portals between worlds). Personally, I've got nothing against Rishia, but it would be nice if you could explain why she suddenly has an aberrant buff that can't be explained. I mean, they explained it by saying “Oh dear, she's very good with Qi” Yeah, but you'd have to explain what Qi is first? Yes, but what do you mean, something psychic, spiritual and capable of counteracting gravitational effects on matter? Well, that's what I had to say! Well, it's certainly one of those inexplicable things in this story. |
