| Well since no one has posted yet i guess i'll be the first. Good day to all who live here, I'm hiruma55 aka hypersonic55. I'm a sketcher who's been doing what i do for 16 years and love drawing immensly. I love gaming too, splaying Smash Bros, Sonic or Mario Kart is enough to set me soul on fire! And obviously i love anime with DBZ, One Piece & BECK being me absolute favourites. I also happen to be a fairly friendly dude to likes to chat and discuss things so yeah whenever ya'll are ready to rach out gimme a holla. I'll be waiting. |

| Hello Well I love watching Auteur movies Like Bergman's, Tarcovskys's etc... And Kurosawa is one of my favorites. So I joined :D Oh and I also like Shinya Tsukamoto, Seijun Suzuki, Takashi Miike and Takeshi Kitano. Have almost full collections of all these directors on my HDD :P |

| Salutations everyone! It's great to find this group! Since I've already listed many of my favourite Japanese films earlier in the forum, I thought I might include some that were multi-national instead. Among my favourite directors are: Hayao Miyazaki, Atom Egoyan, Krzysztof Kieślowski, Ingmar Bergman, Georges Méliès, Ozu Yasujiro, Luchino Visonti, Wim Wenders, Pedro Almodóvar, Mira Nair, Alain Resnais, Joss Weadon (for fun), Richard Linklater, Martin Scorsese, Wes Anderson, Michel Gondry, Julie Taymor, Woody Allen, Kenneth Branagh, Tom Tykwer, Lars Van Trier, Dorris Dorrie, Sally Potter, and I am beginning to fancy David Yates a bit. I also am a huge fan of international and stop-motion animation, such as the works of Lotte Reiniger, Frédéric Back, Ben Hibon, Yuriy Norshteyn, Kunio Katō, Richard Williams, Michel Ocelot, Jim Henson, Don Bluth, Sylvain Chomet, Yamamura Koji, Henry Selick, as well as the older "The World Masterpiece Theatre" works. Recently I've been trying to get into The Brothers Quay, but their style hasn't struck me yet... |
