| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Finally its back! Loved the version of the first seasons OP right at the start... never get tired of it, and hope to hear it more as BGM. No OP this ep though. Goros still pissed off because of the homer, but thats to be expected... Though he did seem to be back to his regular confidence during the exhibition match. The episode itself was a bit slow, but I'm just glad to have more Major. Hopefully this season will develop more characters, and won't turn out like season 4... Didn't really expect to see Sanders again, but I guess hes an alright character. The ED song was really good, with fitting animation. I'm going to have to watch the episode again with subs later... |

On their site they pretty much say it should be out before ep 2 airs... | Nice first episode, but all Major seasons start out good. It's only around the tenth episode where things go bad. I won't let my guard down! The greedy team owner already gives me a bad feeling. Though it is great to see some familiar faces with the Hornets~ |

| Finally Major is back!! Been waiting ages for this. Wasn't an amazing episode but it was good for an introduction back into the series. Did what it should in any case. Set the new theme, characters, goals, etc. Going to be desperate waiting weekly for each episode though. Also glad to hear some proper English voice acting in there :) Even if they still make most people with Japanese voices. Better than the engrish in any case. |

| Yeaah, Major is finally in the majors! Can't contain my excitement, so pumped to see what's in store. Sanders is the man, good to see him again and he's already dishing out words of wisdom. I never get tired of watching Goro pitch his gyro-balls. The last season is finally here. |

| Picking up right where the last season left off. Nice start, worried about Gorou's arm. Hopefully no injuries. I would like for the anime to go into the pay of a Major leaguer and how Gorou handles it. I don't think he's ever once mentioned finances in the previous 2 seasons. |

| In a sense I wouldn't mind if Gorou just kicked butt for awhile. The animation looked a bit better than in previous seasons. Not a lot, but a bit. Let's see what this final season has in store for us. |

| Great first episode! It was nice to see Sanders back and offer up some humble pie to Goro. When Sanders stated something along the lines of "Your record 103 mph pitch was hit for a HR and you were going to quit baseball because of that ? Big deal, dude. You're in the majors now." Goro is only 19, so it's good to have a veteran like Sanders around to teach him the ropes. |
| great first episode, i believe i can see what the season gonna carry from this one - goro's rising. goro's attitude kinda ignores the end of S5 for still taking bad that lose, though it's reasonable it kinda annoying, glad that sanders got his spirit back, i really glad they returned sanders, even though it's seems only for goro's friend in the team. the owner reminds me that owner in S4, hope things doesn't gonna repeat again... i though they removed goro's fork but then keane requested it, hope to see more from his forks. it's seems he have trouble finding his place in the team, i actually hope they will development some of them. the pace was nice and not rushed though i didn't expect goro to pitch already in the 1st ep, i think it's gonna tells a lot about the season. finally above average ending. |
| With everyone either talking smack or praising Goro, Sanders is the true mvp with his positive inspiring words which Goro needed to hear after the World cup loss. On a sidenote, I'm impressed they got an English speakers for the intro. Compared to the terrible yet funny english from s4 this is a big improvement. |

| This is the sixth season of the anime with a photo of Goro's father. I wonder why the photos of Goro's mother are not shown, as if she never existed. As if his mother wasn't important to him. In the first season, he had a photo of his mother, and then they simply forgot about her. |
