THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well, it was kinda... unique. The story felt a bit random (but since it was a one-shot, it's forgivable), the character designs were really strange, but aside from these, I don't have any complains, I got what I expected. |

Kinda strange art indeed, can't say I liked it that much. It was a fine watch I guess, but will probably be fast forgotten. |

Yeeeah. This felt some kind of wierd mix of Mononoke and Naruto. I can't say I really enjoyed it, but it was still worth the watch. Interesting, but far from excellent. |

It was pretty, interesting concept, great fight scenes... but ultimately the story and characters were terribly lacking. Couldn't get into it at all, and I was struggling to stay interested. Might have been nicer were it a 3 episode OAV or something, where we could understand this world, its people and what the hell is going on. |

Visually, seems to be a demonstration of the kind of aesthetic used in Kemonozume. A little Mononoke, too. It also reminded me of the video game Okami. Fun concept, just not much substance to it as a 24-minute oneshot. My guess is that it's an experiment with some ideas for a full series. |

I only watched it because it's only 1 episode, and I'm glad I did. I can't say I liked it, but it was fun enough to watch one time. |

I didn't really get into it, but i loved the art, it was really refreshing. I love deformed art. :D But can't say I'll remember it |

6/10 It was weird, but it was fine. I don't think I could have gone through it if it was longer. |

The story was fine for one episode. I'm not a fan of the deformed character art and animation either, but other than that it looked good. It had a lot of action and fast pacing so it wasn't boring. |

I really wish they had done a full season of this. I really enjoyed the art style, it had potential to have a good storyline too. |

I really dug the art style to this, it had a weird kind of sketch art to it. Which I felt was appropriate due to the who calligraphy theme. The story was pretty basic, but it seemed to leave way for a sequel, since not much was resolved. |

Story came out of nowhere and one silly action scene after another didn't leave much place for plot or character devellopment or to introduce the universe. Characters were stereotypical and annoying at best and the character design really wasn't of my taste (though I can admit that it's quite original). |

Decent enough one-shot I personally liked the art, the action scenes were flawless, if you can looked past all the squigglies! :P The fight scene of the dude with the paper towel roll, was amazing, definitely the best fight. The story was meh, the concept was great, but the plot was non-existent. I think it could make for an awesome series. 7/10 Urahara Out!! |

Relatively rough art means relatively good animation isn't very expensive but I found I tended to lose track of what was going on when things moved very quickly. Story was pretty standard shonen stuff. Not very interesting. |

That was outta nowhere, it was almost like I played a middle episode of the series. Nothing was developed, just plain action and most of all the villain got away, whom by the way what motivated his actions? As for Shiro, he wasn't much of an MC, but that's just because he wasn't developed enough. Like most people, I think it needs a full story and it would it be killa. 7/10 |

The anime wasn't thaaaat bad, it has a fine plot for a one shot, but man the animation and characters designs were terrible which is the reason I'm giving it a 4/10 |

Sumiya's sword reminded me of the one from Mononoke, and there was that wall looking like an A.T. Field. The artstyle was nice, brings back the memories of Kemonozume, Tekkon Kinkreet and the like. |

Meh, everything is over the place and the powers are never explained. A bunch of things I don't care. Pretty forgettable story. 2/10 |
