I really, really loved the first season, and I never thought a second one would ever come after knowing how long it has been since the first one aired and finished. This is literally one of the most surprising yet happy things I ever heard of recently. I. Can't. Wait. ^_^ |

It has to do with various characters from their own respective lands/worlds (with a quick rundown of their own stories and lore) suddenly finding a door that would simply transport them into the restaurant. They would eat their food, describe how tasty it is, express their joy and appreciation, and leave. There's a bit more to it than that, like the history of the restaurant eventually unfolding, but that's mainly it, really, so it's not the usual Isekai. This is one of those soothing series. One to simply relax with and not think much about when going through it, and being one about food, the food usually looks really appetizing and makes me hungry (lol). Both of this and the many character backgrounds are why I like it. A simple, nice and cute show without heavily exaggerated anime tropes that felt "adventurous" to me in a way, but with such a very simple structure, it can understandably be boring. |
