To me it looks like it took some ideas from Overman King Gainer, Regios, Trigun and Nausicaä...among others...and did its own thing with them.

Not really but I guess except them flying around, the fortress and the monsters. It is more similar to Final Fantasy X for me.

Lmao it's not even close to being similar to AOT besides it including the "last humans on earth, need to survive" trope, which has been used for years. Maybe watch the anime before saying something dumb like this!

I wouldnt call it aot rip off, but damn the similarity is quite obvious.

Gurren Laggan Episode 1 and AOT ep 1 had a lot of similarities but you don’t see people calling AOT a Gurren Lagann rip off

From the synopsis and the PV, it seems it's another Attack on Titan rip-off, just like Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress. But we'll see if it really turns out this way.

I've watched first episode. This show is nothing like Attack on Titan.

You need to understand a difference between a rip off and being inspired by another work. The later is totally fine and extremely common.

Like i said i dont called it rip of, just it has a lot similarities with aot. For example, the last of humanity who confined themself in human-made structures, a threat that threaten humanity who goes outside, a unique type of weapon for fighting against the said threat, and focus on group/organization who fight the threat etc.

And i do admit this show has its own uniqueness and feel that separated it from aot. It's also have a more lighthearted atmosphere compared to aot. So, yeah it is not a rip off, just some similarities worth mentioning.

You really don't see obvious similarities? It's not just "humanity fighting for survival". Just look at the synopsis:

Most of them are written by complete scrubs and do not make any sense whatsoever. Wait for MAL Rewrite to write something for it.
Oh man! I do remember the original synopsis for Bunny Girl Senpai. It was so horrible

Not only are they horrible, but they also contain spoilers. So I do not read them, unless they are written by rewrite.

I can see the similarities, but what I can't say is it is a rip off. Just because they share the basic premise, doesn't make them a rip off. Because a rip off is something that takes an idea and copied it in whole. If they take an idea and they evolved it, I can't call it a rip off. Because if so then all isekai anime are a rip off, same goes to shounen genres. People are over glorifying snk that they are calling anything with similar premise a rip off. Snk is a great show, but that doesn't mean it has the sole right to be the one and only anime with humanity survival premise.

It looks good. And the direction behind main plot can be totally different than AOT. And it seems more character focused than AOT. It gives off Mob Psycho Vibes on some level. I think this can be anime of the season for summer

This anime actually has a lot of mob psycho staff on it.

This certainly seems like a unique show and I'm more reminded of Darling in the Franxx and Sidonia no Kishi. (Because of the mobile fortress thing and people lliving there + having a squad to defend and some military leadership.)

And here the first episode seems a lot more promising. I liked especially the daily life on the fortress and how they explained the society. (Not just some kids training.)
