Ouch, it's a tough reality to realize but injuries can really bring a halt to an athlete's career.

A lot of drama this episode as I had expected. Honestly, the boys in this show just can't seem to stay out of toruble these days.

I just love how quickly they start a fight. And memorable lines like "I want you to see my beautiful muscles and get better faster" and "Do you want to be popular with men as well as women?" They're so adorable!

First scene: profile closeup of Natsusa on the bed, being given a pill and a drink, his neck is clearly and obviously not covered.
Cut to the room: Sei sitting on his right, with the drink in his hand, Yasunari standing next to the bed on his left (wearing a plain black sweater and red shorts) - his neck is clearly and obviously covered by what later turns out to be an ice pack.
Cut to a closeup of Sei as he speaks, then to Natsusa again - his neck is clearly and obviously not covered; Sei asking him about IV then telling him to cool the area off - and then puts the ice pack around Natsusa's neck.
The size of the ice pack also seems to differ: probably just the various angles and distances, but both its width and its thickness appears to change.
Later, outside Natsusa's room: Yasunari's sweater suddenly sprouted four stripes on each sleeve - the placement of which I'm also not sure is consistent, from a greater distance, with his back to the camera, they appear slightly lower down than they do from the side a few cuts later. His pants are also suddenly dark blue, at least the length can't be determined from any of the angles we see anymore (but might have grown too, since the shorts seemed to end well above his knees). The random yellow stripe that seems to grow from Yasunari's right hand or something behind that? and go all the way down, when they're shown from the side, with the window behind them, is also a mystery to me.
These pre-OP 2 minutes are just a mess, at least Sei's glasses don't play hide and seek, I guess.

On another note: there's just no transition between major parts. Last week we abruptly got Natsusa being completely paralysed, and now just as abruptly we get him not only being back on his feet but even picking a fight with another team. It's a little weird and disorienting.

Still unapologetically gay though, like Yasunari's offer to Yuu to call each other by their first names, followed by the obligatory blush, was hilarious and adorable. Also: are we sure these are college students, because if I didn't know better, I'd swear they aren't. x'D

Omfg Natsusa is such a hothead, trying to start a fight right after he was bedridden for a couple of days! I'm glad that his ill health didn't dampen his savageness... like, at all haha

At first I found the amount of characters in this anime pretty overwhelming but now I just love them all! I especially like Natsusa and Ibuki's friendship and the one now blossoming between Natsu & Yasunari ❤

I shall come back to you again

Now Natsusa knows how the rest of the members feel over his sadistic side lol. One thing I am glad this show is doing is continuing the dynamic between Natsusa and Ibuki. Thought it was gonna get sidelined once he rejoined the team

Natsusa is out and bedridden with his neck injury, so Yasunari takes in his stead to bear responsibility (even though it isn't his fault).

The sadistic banter between Natsusa and Ibuki is still gold, while the other members are just as eccentric in their own personality and style. But without Natsusa, the rugby team has to make-do, and visit him in droves that are just too funny to pass it up.

Trouble is brewing up soon, what's it gonna be?

All the main characters are/used to be backs. Really, what's so awesome about being a back?! Scrum members are the best. Now, team positions aside, the season so far has been enjoyable. I don't get what the problem is with 1380 members here to rate the anime so bad (6.13), which is even lower than Boruto (6.31) and the Tokyo Ghoul nonsense. There must be a lot of emotionally and sexually insecure people among the low-scorers, with moronic stereotypes the size of a supernova.

There's that too, probably. And people who see "sports" among the genres and expect something that's more hardcore sports oriented, and are disappointed by what they get.
But mostly it's MAL's rating system that's completely broken in too many ways, which isn't even news, sadly.

I honestly don't understand what's with this low rating. This anime is so funny and just so damn wholesome I love every minute of it.

I really appreciate Ibuki being the only level headed on here lol, and I'm really enjoying Yasunari so far. I still don't think this anime is that great but it's very entertaining.

Also Yuu is adorable, I always love the team managers who suck at cooking haha

There's also "school" among the genres, in case they haven't seen it lol What do you mean by broken?

My theory: MAL seems to be predominantly male and since most guys are straight, they won't be interested in a "fujo bait" show full of muscley bishi guys and their bromances with each other. The dismissal of the show by the majority only giving it a small chance is probably why it has the rating that it does. The fact that it's an original with no prior hype doesn't help either. I bet if this show was about a bunch of cute, big boobed girls playing the sport who have a similar dynamic with each other as the boys, the rating would be much higher.

....but, boobs are awesome... :(

Anyway, speaking for myself, I started watching the show because I've never seen a rugby anime and I wanted to learn a little about the game. I wish they showed the characters actually playing the sports more. I don't really mind the characterization, but the sport should be the star of the show. Or, at least, one of the stars.

I don't know why but the guy with close eye is funny lol I know close eye guy like Fuji (Prince of Tennis) and he's one of my crushes but this guy in this anime looks baka haha it's funny. It's weird to see close eye character now.

Natsusa's harem. Everyone loves him xD

Natsusa showed his temper this ep, he's really protective lol.

I wonder what'll happen on the field with Ibuki

Thankfully, Natsusa's problem was a temporary thing that only happens every now and then, and he's back to normal now.

The team they're up against seems kinda ignorant.

Team is quite reliant on Natsusa as manager

Quickest fight started there by just staring lol, got a good chuckle when even Natsusa showed some temper

I really enjoyed this episode, I liked how we got to see some more of the team members' personalities. This marks the halfway point and I am enjoying this series as a whole a lot. I really like the main characters (Natsusa, Sei, and Ibuki) and I am liking the character development for some of them, especially Ibuki. It's definitely not on the same level as haikyu but it is still enjoyable and not a bad show.
