I wonder what will happen in the next episode...im excited
Magase ai made it in my list as one of the villains that is very dangerous

Really interesting. Loved the discussion of the Bible and suicide between Alex and the priest. It felt very organic and natural, instead of the usual spontaneous philosophical discussions that pop up in anime usually.

Seizaki has really become an interesting character. He still firmly believes in justice, yet his goal almost contradicts that. I understand that at this point in the story, he's emotionally unstable, but why would he tell the president that he was planning to commit murder?

I do appreciate the details of people calling Zen as "Zen" in america rather than Seizaki-san or what have you. Any things continue to progress. Excited to see what the president with say at the summit meeting. Very cool that they targeted the G7 so they could make a suicide version.

It's nice, but more than looking beyond racially stereotypical in an anime airing in 2020, my problem is how Japanese the American characters act. Like, that scene where one character asked Zen if he wears black often or something, that's clearly some sort of subtextual way of talking that a Japanese person would say, but not an American. Sure, us Americans aren't very explicit usually, but we are more direct than Japanese people, generally speaking.

People don't like good adult show like babylon
They just like simple show like bnha and kimetsu

What's the matter ? Some people watch shows purely for entertainment, so they prefer a funny good-looking show (aka having a good reputation to start with) which will make them smile and not thinking too much.

Babylon is great but I never smiled during any of the 10 aired episodes ; actually without bringing me down, it surely made me feel a bit sad of the whole story (especially with this episode where Zen comes back to 3 important characters' deaths whose we witnessed 2 in direct).

So now just think about someone who comes back from school/college/work after having a complete day using his body/brain : well perhaps he/she just wants to laugh by a funny show or become amazed/impressed by a fantastic fight scene...

Well, this too, but Babylon has been criticized for many of its plot holes and inconsistencies. I also think while it's an interesting show, it REALLY drags on.

That conversation between Zen and the president was my favorite part of the episode. There's a moment when the president clutches his chest while Zen recollected everything that happened to the people he loved and cared about.

I actually liked hearing that Zen wants revenge and to kill Magase. It disturbs me a bit when a character is too pure and doesn't want to stain their hands with bloodshed. Considering everything he went through, I'm surprised he didn't want to kill her sooner. Then again, since she's a master of disguise, who's to say he wouldn't have killed her if given the chance.

I guess the president is finally out of his mind slump and he's ready to kick ass. I hope he does something badass in the succeeding final episodes.

Agreed with above comment that the private convo between Zen and President was the most interesting of the entire episode.

I wonder if the Pres will eventually succumb to the persuasion of the Suicide Law and implement it as well and order Zen to back of.

An interesting anime it stays being. I just wish it was a bit more exciting at times because I do get tired at times watching this.

This show became incredibly boring after they started focusing on the president. It feels like all the episodes since the break have been a waste. He was supposed to be intelligent but instead he consults the bible to determine right from wrong and doesn't appear to use his brain at all.

There's only two episodes left and both will probably be taken up by the conference.

It was a good episode and I appreciate the president's inclusion as a character, but... where is this going?

The most irksome part of the series has unequivocally been the incessant reference to the "suicide law" as, in fact, the "suicide law." Many countries globally have discussed the legal ramifications of euthanasia or assisted suicide. The framing has felt consistently juvenile and I've no idea if that's just because of the subtitles. I know this sounds like a nitpick.

I guess Babylon feels like a Monster-lite, but without the sophistication of Monster. It leaves me weary about how this will end.

Yeah, definitely similar to Monster, "kill her," just like "kill him" in Tenma's case. Next episode should be good.

While I find the president an interesting character I feel like they should have kept the whole america part a bit shorter as it kinda felt a little bit too long in my opinion

Damn if I was that guy hearing the mayor say those words to a little girl who just lost her mother, I probably would have punched him in the face

I find the entire premise of this show to be so absurd that I can't take it the least bit seriously. The fact that the president has to have a big think about this matter is equally stupid. This anime is seemingly heading for some big clash with some big plan from the mayor and Magase Ai, some ridiculous terrorist plot I suppose. This going global instead of a couple of kooks in Tokyo does not do this show any favors. Would have been better chasing a crazy woman who can psychologically control people instead of an international conspiracy or something. Marginally better anyway, episode 7 is still terrible but at least can distract you with blood.

Wonder where this show is heading to... only two episodes left. Judging by how things are going, looks like it's just gonna be a chase between Seizaki and Magase with the former hellbent on revenge. I do like the fact that Seizaki acknowledges that he's essentially just doing it to kill Magase for his own satisfaction.

The suicide law is still a stupid premise that doesn't make sense.

Suicide summit? Goddammit. Anyway, this episode made me think about the topic itself, suicide. But my heart broke when Zen provided all the details to the president about his colleagues who died. I wish Zen will get through with this. Hope the president Alex will be able to help him

Ha insane. A name check for my home city, Southampton! I wonder if that's a first? Although I'm pretty sure the local government wouldn't be allowed to pass a law like that!

This president character really amazing. His persona really better comparing to Zen with everything happen before. Lol.
Lets see how the president handled all this nonsense law and Zen's mentality obsession toward Magase. Like i said in previous episodes, this episode dont enjoy my curiosity afterall

President's wife sure has her own way to cheer her husband up... quite captivating woman I must say.

Overall, it was another slow-paced episode yet filled with some very interesting dialogues such as the exchange between Seizaki's partner and Mayor Flores, the talk between Alex and the priest about the bible and of course, Seizaki's reunion with Alex at the end. In that regard, Zen taking the path of revenge was what I was waiting for since I wanted to see his concept of "justice" being tested. He promised he would return to his family but I doubt he will think logically once he has the reason of his immense grief in front of him. We'll see.

This said, now let's see how these two summits will unfold.

Now that's how every chat should finish, with someone getting permission to both wield and fire a gun. I wonder how it'll be implemented in the upcoming eps.

Was literally thinking this. Soon as they mentioned the British I was like aha which city is it gonna be "Southampton or Portsmouth?". But ye pretty sure cities can't just make up their own laws and it has to be passed by parliament.

When I first started to watch this show I enjoyed the episodes a lot, but the further it goes the less I like it. I don't like how the scene changed to America, I think it's a deal breaker for me. I'll finish watching the show, but I'm not invested anymore.
