this was quite the dramatic episode. tho i expected them to go a little more on the morality of killing dragons, but they kinda just scratched the surface. nevertheless, Takita's struggle to finish off a dragon was nicely displayed
some beautiful cave shots too

This episode was a bit more intense and enjoyable than the previous 2, what with the group exploring an area filled with dragons. Takita finally gets some character development as she is forced to kill a dragon for the first time. It wasn't a rite of passage for her, it was a difficult and a mildly traumatic choice that she'll have to live with for the rest of her life. It's a bit embarrassing, though, that we had to wait 10 episodes for Takita to experience some growth. Better late than never, I guess.

Just when everything was going well for them Takita fell from the ship sigh. This episode was pretty dramatic. Takita and the baby dragon's interactions were touching.

Poor Takita, she fell from the sky but at least she's not injuried and not alone...

Takita is lucky to survive and the find someone who can help her.
The main question is how will she be able to reunite with the rest of the crew seeing as no one knows where she is and the one who does know where is is doesn't know about the crew.

This episode depicts "rivals in the same boat in a storm" situation thing: it is a human and a small dragon in this case. You can call it a cliche.

Once I bought a colored chick and raised it to a young rooster. Of course, I often eat chickens, but it was not food but a pet. The difference is just how we met.

For a second I really thought the giant swarm was just a giant grape. Quite the dramatic episode with some character growth of Takita killing the dragon and even scratching a bit on the moral side of dragon hunting.

This episode for how it started does not seem bad to me, on the contrary the script made the narrative intriguing. Finally we know the identity of that dragon that was seen in the opening and we know the character of Aschera. I imagine this new story arc that has opened now will last until the end of the anime series.
