They really hit me in the feels with this episode. As I thought the S type demon lord was crazy powerful, but thinking that Seiya had to use 2 gates of Valhalla to get rid of him is absolute ridiculous.

At least this time he was able to protect his loved ones and could even remember on his past relationship with Ristarte. Just heartbreaking to see the always cheerful Ristarte so devastated. But who could blame her. With Seiya gone it's like she lost an important part of herself.

Loved the ending even if rescuing an SS world sounds impossible, especially considering Ristarte won't be able to use her power. But all of that doesn't matter. I'm just happy for her being able to summon Seiya again. His memories mostly likely are gone, but maybe at some point he'll be able to recognize Ritarte again. Impossibly cautious sounds like "if" there's a potential season 2 it could get even more hilarious.

Overall a great show. Haven't laughed so much since the last time I watched Gintama. Rista's facial expressions, her seiyuu Toyosaki Aki + Seiya as such a special character were the perfect combination to make me cry :D

I also like the rest of the characters and I enjoyed the fights, even if some of them ended in One Punch Man manner haha. The OP is such a banger. I already have it on one of my playlists.

Hopefully there will be a season 2 in the future, even if it might take some time.

A pretty nice ending. With Seiya still being alive, hopefully, it could set up a second season with them dealing with the SS world.

It still baffles me that they would give lower experience goddesses such high-rank jobs.
Graduated High School in May of 2022. Summer vacation has finally arrived. I have once again regained the power of a new anime fan, being able to watch multiple anime episodes in a day. Time to binge-watch every single anime I can into the night until college arrives. SADGE. SUPER SADGE... College has begun as of Monday, August 30, 2022, so you won't be seeing me much around these parks. See you on weekends, I guess... School me is back. Sigh! I'll at least try for one anime a day with all this course load.

The fact they killed the main character, played off most the episode like they killed the main character then brought him back in the final minute hurt the score for this anime. From a 7 to a 6. Even a generic ending where he never died would've been better that a misleading ending, I hate being lied to.

It all comes back full circle.

I like how the last two episodes of this series instantly took a different turn in the general mood. For the first ten episodes, the major focus was comedy and laughs and then all of a sudden we learn about the past of Ristarte's human life in Ixphoria as Tiana and the fact that Seiya has been chosen as the hero before.

Focusing on this episode specifically, I was on the edge of my seat. I thought that Ristarte was able to save Seiya from the fate of Omega Valkyrja Gate of Valhalla, but then the Demon Lord comes back for more.

From that point I can feel the emotion of Seiya and Ristarte as Seiya's life was sacrificed after the second gate had to be opened and the shift in Ristarte's mood was very apparent. It didn't matter what consequences awaited her and what happened after the fact. She lost Seiya and that was it...

Until she was given the task of saving the SS ranked world of Ixphoria without her powers. What seemed to be impossible was shifted immediately as Ishtar reveals that the second gate swalled up Chain Destruction, meaning that Seiya is still alive in his own world. So now the two can work together to save yet another world.

I'm assuming because of the vibe the series will end as what's the point of essentially doing the same plot but in a different world. Seiya doesn't remember what happened the first two times he was summoned so his interaction with Ristarte won't change.

Love it. These little breadcrumbs throughout the entire series... It really gives the ending a double meaning.

I'm really looking forward to learning more about the world in future installments.

Is it me only, or folks also don't like the ending?
Like, this was going well, our hero is "overly cautious", but the last 2 episodes put it upside down. The hero, though don't remember the fact, drops the act of cautiousness as it was a mere pretence.

And, re-uniting them again is a shit show, atleast for me. It's like, anime with sad tragic story does well, so let's add that potion, even if it does not make sense at all.

That was probably the most ambivalent anime I have ever seen lol... So many times I was getting bored or finding certain jokes/tropes not hitting the mark, and so many other times I was bursting out in laughter and enticed in the ridiculousness of the adventure. 7/10.

Is that actually all or did they skip half the content? Seems odd going for drama so suddenly.

Anyway this was rather lame. Boring characters, no party dynamic. Meh.

Isn't it a pseudo bad end? Ristarte won't have her healing powers and the Demon Lord has already turned the world to hell, I assume anything like the sword and armor will no longer exist as well?

How the hell is Seiya going to beat that assuming he doesn't hit his stat cap early like last time?

Good ending, certainly didn't expect a double dose of Gates. And I totally expected them to flip it completely with Seiya being reborn a god and Rista demoted to a human and subsequently be summoned for the next go.

I, for one, thought the whole series was brilliant and a blast, even more than Konosuba (at least the 2 seasons). I liked the dramatic turn at the end to give Seiya his reasons for his antics, and I especially liked Ristarte's constant flopping between thirsty and incredulousness over him.

The anime Shinchou Yuusha: Kono Yuusha ga Ore Tueee Kuse ni Shinchou Sugiru is finished and it taught me a very valuable lesson, so I won't mind calling this anime a masterpiece. I don't mind if this anime gets another season.

I would've given it higher than a 7 if Ristarte at one point actually had some character development. To some degree she even seemed retarded.

Until the end of the show she was some sidekick with the same running joke over and over, even though there were plenty of catalysts for her to develop into something more than just a joke.

Not too bad of an ending, but it didn't seem to fit into the story as whole. Mainly due to there being no indications for the viewer (aside maybe hes personality and that one interaction with beelzebub?, but thats asking too much) that he had reasons for his actions. Now it just felt like the ending was just there for it to have an ending.

Now that I've re-watched this series again. It makes me really want to go and re-read the third light novel volume, which immediately follows after this episode.
I remember that being a brutal but still funny SS-difficulty world.

I really need a sequel... lmao 😭😭😭
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

I thought they would keep him dead at the end to keep that meaningful event relevant, but no, they just brought him back and undid the only meaningful thing that happened in the second part of the series.
