What a bizarre episode. That cat though. The simulated world with the RPG elements caught me off guard.

Then again, this did feel more refreshing than some of the other episodes.

Interesting twist, even as a long time actors fan, I wasn't expecting this. I wonder if Mitsuki has something to do with all this crazy turn of events.

Nice surprise to hear a song that doesn't come from the 1st album, but fits perfectly with the episode (tbf, 'shinigray' and 'ten faced' wouldn't fit the mood)

My theory is, that they are intelligent AI in a idol school rpg or such, and they were not supposed to be able to access the game from inside.

To me this felt like a weird plot twist. All this time, the white shadows were just RPG projections? You've got to be kidding me, this series just dropped an atom bomb on us, and was lax about it.

I hope the upcoming episodes will explain it further than this.

This episode is really different from others, finally we can see the real story now. I never think that the cat/white shadows is only players so i'm really shocked. I wonder who listen to sakuya's wish. Maybe the reason why they said white shadow can grant someone's wish is because the player (white shadow/cat) can play gacha and get some item that can help the npc (sakuya)? Just my thought

I instantly recongnised this song as soon as it started playing. (play at 1.25 speed)

So white shadows are Demo 'Actors' and the 'Thrive' system creates super realistic animal avatars.. projected into the minds of regular people .. stuck in a videogame.. and they can only see the Actors when they make a 'Connection' with them via ..'Song'

The show is still MENTAL but I wished they'd started with the Isekai angle
If I could keep up with a single group of characters I'd probabaly like this show more... I really want to drop it but I have to see how this cluster fork turns out.

Great episode.we are finally near the main plot. But bruh the white shadows were demo players in an RPG game?! How are they going to fix Saku's Sister and what made the sister think it grants wishes. This is an awesome anime but I wonder if they will take the isekai angle or a MENTAL thriller. Being a Matrix fan , i loved this episode

Am I the only one who's not enjoying this Anime at all? It's boring as hell.

It has no real storyline, and no direction. It's literally all over the place, and the way the characters act annoys be greatly.

I'm dropping this now.

ARE YOU TELLING ME THAT THIS A PLOT TWIST? LIKE SERIOUSLY???

The RPG elements, the "white" shadows and the CCTV-esque cats, are they part of a game? It looks connected and all to the core frame of the series, like how Shakespeare envisioned it: "All the world's a stage, and all the ACTORS, merely PLAYERS."

How all this connects to Saku and his singing, all this is still a mystery. For now it's a mish-mash of ideas that don't have a clear direction of where it wants to go. Add in more characters and this adds to the insanity of how everyone is connected.

Not gonna be excited for this turn of events, but will see further.

What a weird episode. It explains the white shadows and their connections to the cats and also how that one character had surveillance on Saku, but it felt like a creepy voyeur game. At least, that's how most of the players were using it. Minori even uses the "it's okay because it's not real" defense that so many people fall back on when their favorite show has objectionable content, but like, the "game" takes place at their school and includes their classmates. Whatever, I guess. Seems they're memories have been wiped, and the moderator/administrator probably had it shut down.
