THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.

An urban legend? What.

Despite the seriousness about trying to find a cure to the girl, I do find the episode's idea a bit silly. And those cat ears....wtf.

this anime will either be great, or terrible, and alot of that really depends on what the deal is with the shadows, the wall and such heh.

The balance between mystery and simple slice-of-life may not always be the greatest, but I think the anime has a nice flow. No immersion breaking skips, no ever-changing pacing that sometimes screeches to a halt and sometimes speeds on the highway, no major omissions between two scenes that leave the viewer scratching their head... So far, anyway. And the characters are also being shaped more and more, bit by bit. It's simply fun to watch.

The cat ears were a riot - especially Ryou trying to catch Saku like that, wtf even... xD Uta actually turning out to be a lot less of a halfwit than he may seem at first sight (though still a bit of an oddball). And finally some more significant singing too. Saku, just say yes to the club already!

this show seriously is a massive failure. i've already talked about how they mashed so many genres together into a big clusterfuck so i'll talk about something else this episode

how dimwitted are they to take them a whole fucking episode to figure out that singing can attract 'white people'?? sure we at least got a song at the end, which is the whole point of this show, songs, but couldn't they direct it in a way that makes the character look less stupid?? searching the grass?? how the hell is that gonna help in any way shape or form??

and the last scene of otonomiya saying his wish to the ghost. it's probably supposed to be a heart-warming/tear-jerking scene/whatever but i felt no emotions watching it. if they really want us to feel the dread that his sister is dying then they should at least make her look more tired and sick, idk, make her really pasty-faced and ill-looking. cause every time we see her she looks so pretty she could practically be an idol nothing like how a sick person should look.

seriously this show can't be worse

Loved how Uta and Kagura aided Saku in finding the white shadows.

I guess Nozomi is better now, judging by that smile from Saku.

This episode was kinda great for me , we got a song after 3 episodes when the title of the anime has "song" in it.

I liked the theme , the mystery and stuff , but from this point , they could ruin it or make it better or even a masterpiece.

I really want this anime to be great cuz this is the first "ongoing" anime I'm watching. Let's hope we get more content other than discovering one thing the shadow likes , and stuff. I would like this anime to have more content in one episode

It seems that the white shadows like singing.

It's good to see that the musical aspect is starting to show up more.

Trying to mash the slice-of-life in this series is always one that I've come to expect, with the MC Saku being somewhat of an estranged person. Add in the "white shadows" and the link of it being able of Saku's bedridden sister receiving recovery of her unexplainable illness, there is no open path that's predictable.

NO SORRY, I'll rephrase that: every moment leads to nowhere, unless spoiled somehow just to give plot pointers.

At this moment, this "urban legend" of white shadows is just stupid and senseless, migrate it to occult status instead. And that cat, the eye-cam still rings.

Dat cat accessories, like WTF crazy. Turns out the "white shadows" are indicative of sounds, or more particularly, the singing. The feeling of music (or more specifically Vocaloid music), reverberating through Saku's life, just really hoping they'll up the ante.

This anime is crazy, the first episode made you think it was going to be about an Idol singing club Anime (great song) , the second episode pulled a complete reversal and made it look like a cooking Anime, the 3rd makes you think its a Truman show anime... and finally episode 4 reveals that this anime is about.. Deceased K-Pop fans who cant let go.

Actors .. no
Songs .. a few good ones
Connections.. meh I guess

Total Score =

Tone Deaf

It all rhymes to a T in song. And it's a song that I don't want playing in my head.

I think this anime is better with only few moments of singing.
I wonder what's really this story of white shadows, it's strange.

I was just on the verge of dropping this. Sosuke finding out about Saku's sister saved this show for me. Uta's still annoying, but Sosuke is a real bro, and they feel more like friends now. Hopefully Saku will stop being such a sad sack.
