| This was a nice slowing down of the pace. Honestly, I thought Makima was checking out his reaction to these movies to measure whether he's still human. But it seems like that wasn't really the case. |

Liked that the date was different and a through line for their characters. Still curious on Power's apprehension of Makima, she looks freaked out anytime she has to be alone with her. |

| Interesting chapter, not really sure what to make of it. I did initially think she was testing Denji's human heart so to speak, but that might not have been the case after all. The ending scene with Makima landing her ear on Denji's chest to her his heart was pretty sweet as well, a cute end to their date. This is end of the Katana Man arc according to the wiki, which is easily the strongest arc of the series thus far. |

| Makima with her casual civilian attire and with her hair down is something I'll engrain into the backs of my eyes. She's cute, Denji deserved to have this date with Makima. It might not be romantic, but sheesh, anything to spend more time with her right? Both Makima and Denji share a rather peculiar similarities in that they're not so easily moved or react in ways normal people would when witnessing any particular thing in movies and perhaps in real life. However they coincidentally also share that soft spot for a strange scene which brought them to tears. I might be speaking bullshit, but I think both Denji and Makima lost their original hearts at some point with it being replaced by some other entity. Though that doesn't really explain why they were brought to tears after watching that 1 scene. Something to do with inherited genetic memories perhaps? |

| Wow that was actually a REALLY good chapter. You'd never see shit like this in any other shounen. I love that Fujimoto is letting the characters actually interact and progress naturally rather than jumping from one battle to another like other shounen do. Good stuuf. Makima is so cute!!! 5/5 chapter  |
