Loved it! It looks so good and the music goes really well with the atmosphere. Kohaku seems like she could help Hitomi with becoming more outgoing and also starting to like magic more. I love how she encouraged Hitomi, who thought it would be a big deal to reveal she's from the future, to share that with everyone.

Kohaku finally arrives to the town and meet Hitomi as her granddaughter. They go to school the next day and Kohaku shows some magic for their partners, everything went a bit bad, but nothing important. Hitomi has a meeting with the photography and art club, so Kohaku accompanied her, she got along with everyone really fast and they decided to take photos of the city by night in the school rooftop (Kohaku decided that she will accompany them). Kohaku and Hitomi had a small talk about magic and their future, demostrating that Hitomi really has potential to explode. The next scene they're all waiting to enter to the shcool by night and start their event, they prepared everything in the rooftop (cameras and lunch) as 2 members stayed down. There Shou shared some scenes with Hitomi showing her how to use the camera and take photos, Kohaku and Hitomi finally confessed that Hitomi is from 60 years in the future and that Kohaku is her grandmother.

Beautiful episode, always, the scenes and details are a masterpiece, animation here is in another level, there is also this rooftop scenes that work as a development character part and the introduction of young Kohaku is so fluid that you don't even notice when she got involved with everyone. How does Hitomi choose her outfit when she can see no colors? Does Kohaku had real friends in Japan before leaving (cause I don't see them)?

Probably the best episode yet, mainly because of how likeable the granny is....

This anime is shaping up to be really boring, hope the drama that will come from Aoi and Hitomi being from two different eras changes things.

I don't know. I somehow doubt that it's Aoi that ends up with Hitomi because I'm sure the intention of the grandma for making her go back in time is so Aoi could make her life better with his drawings which could be why Hitomi ended up in his room right? If Aoi is actually Hitomi's grandfather and she falls for him, wouldn't it do the opposite of making her feel better which is the sole reason for making her go back in time? And, wouldn't she recognize her grandpa? Even if he died before she was born, she still could see pictures and his name. The grandma could also talk about him too. So, I don't know if she would be unable to recognize her own grandpa. Who knows.

Also, there seems to be something going on with Asagi. She seems to keep looking whenever Hitomi and shou are interacting together. Looks like there could be possibly something going on with her and shou. I guess we can expect drama. Overall, I'm really enjoying this anime a lot. It just feels visually impressive and very magical. I like that.

Kohaku only just returned from over seas and is already causing trouble for the school, I like her. I really like how open and cheerfully she is compared to Hitomi, she will definitely be a big help for Hitomi to open up.

Part of that has already happened as her secret (one of them) has been revealed to her club members.

Hitomi calling Kohaku granny is something I have to get used to, cause it just sounds odd.

Overall a great episode!! That tablet thingy really is something mysterious, can't wait to find out why Hitomi can see colours through that screen.

I think it's very obvious that Hitomi is starting to become conscious of Yuito from the way she was following him with her eyes in this episode. Sho will most likely fall for her but I don't see it going that route. Asagi seems to have a thing for Sho, so I wonder how things will be if Sho makes it obvious that he has a thing for Hitomi.

I don't think there's a chance that Yuito is Hitomi's grandfather as she would have realized that by the name or a photo from his old days. The same to be said for Sho but who knows. I wonder if Kohaku will act as a catalyst and help in resolving Hitomi and the others' issues. Honestly, I would be more happy if things don't go the typical way but I guess it will. Even if Yuito and Hitomi fall in love and she is someone from the future, I think Kohaku will find a way to keep them together.

Kohaku is a pretty fun character to watch. :)
A lively character like her is a good match for the passive Hitomi.

Granny kinda wanted some spoilers about her future love life. So cute!
Gramps probably be Yuito :v

I'm glad Kohaku didn't turn out to be annoying, yet she still brings energy to the picture. Sho's further development was nice too.

But it's really sad if you think about it, these will be the first friends Hitomi makes, and when she comes back to her era they will be old or deceased. What a melancholic setup for the beginning of the story.

Finally, she has met her grandmother. Clearly her granny from 60 years later knows that she has to send her here at this time, since she lived through the supposed experience that presumably helped Hitomi regain her confidence or unlock her hidden power or whatever.

It's not exactly the most exciting interpretation of a time travel story, but hey I'm just looking forward to the life changing event for Hitomi. I just worry because this is only a 13 episode anime, please don't end before anything eventful happens.

And again! with the art so spectacular!
Kohaku is really an extraordinary mage! but a very disruptive one that is! she immediately made a mess out of the school...but that's just one room lolz
Hitomi finally told some truth to the members of the photo club but I guess the others knew that Kohaku is Hitomi's obachan...
lolz, Kohaku just decided that she merged the magic club with the photo club, i guess that's still a mess! lolz
5/5.

Underwhelmed by Chiba's acting. He did well in TgK but not pleased with him here. Conversely can see why Edechan was called HanaKana mk2 here, doing fairly well too.

Second half, dark scenes very visually lively and dynamic. Cool. Script though, was a bit stop-starty and slow, some good scenes but messy overall.

And yes I think can see who her grandfather is too. Bloody hell, PA.

Well, this was a "nice" episode and Kohaku seems like a relatively fun character.

I just have one issue though. The main ingredient this show has been missing is any real sense of tension. Yes, new things/events are happening, but there's little to zero intrigue. The group dynamic is fine and the cast seems decent, but the show needs something more to engage me.

I don't mind lack of narrative tension in something like K-On! where the focus is very clearly on light comedy and cute/moe antics. But with what we've gotten in this show so far, I'd certainly like there to be a more directed focus on what the point of the series is.

Will keep watching, but my interest is slowly decreasing.

Yes, this show is so slow-paced that if i were a big action guy i would have probably dropped it already bu since i enjoy slice of life i'm actually liking this series.
The side-characters aren't of those types that would reamin in your mind long minutes after finishing the show but they are human and seem human and that's important.

Also can you say me please, what nime is that of your image cause i would like to watch it.

Did you see the ghost? He's at 20.35, an old man in a suit. He's standing behind them smiling while they are watching the train in the sky, looks like he was a teacher at the school.

I just started watching the series, will try to catch up soon!

Fuck, there will be a love triangle/chain in the end, right?... well, better accept it now than later... sigh*

Well, as expected, Hitomi finally revealed she comes from the future and nothing really happened... although it was still odd that everyone accepted it so easily.

Not to mention that I'm not really sure what to think about them not considering how Hitomi's actions might change the future but well... her own grandma doesn't seem that concern about that either so...

And regarding the episode, it was good and having the introduction of Kohaku was a huge plus for sure. She was really nice and her carefree attitude is really enjoyable to watch as well.

It's weirdly charming to see these grandmother-granddaughter interactions while they are the same age. I like how everyone accepts her story so easily, as if it's the most natural thing ever.
Kohaku is great, I like her the most already.
I wonder why it is only Aoi's drawings that are in color for her.

Well, at least she doesn't keep it secret. But man, Hitomi really is oblivious and boring type, right?

Like the vibes between Kurumi and Chigusa. Also, it's evident that Asagi is secretely in love with Yuito.
Really wonder how this series ends, either there will be real tearjerker in the end or Hitomi stays in the past with some twist related to the future (would actually prefer this ending but doubt it due to her parents who would missed her in the future). There is some paradox lurking around though as the reason her grandma sent her back was certainly the fact that she met her in the past.

Please, no need to insert some teen love intrigue... -_- Isn't this supposed to be about helping the heroin to open to herself and to peoples?

Hitomi decides to join the Photography & Art Club. Kohaku finally returns from England via ship and uses her magic to create an illusion of her school in London using some photos, but an oncoming train accidentally causes dust from the engine to fall all over everyone and the teacher. After school though, Kohaku informs Hitomi that the train was caused by her instead, and suspects that she has a dormant power within her. For club activities the next day, Hitomi, accompanied by Kohaku, goes to the school roof with everyone to take photos of the night skyline, wanting to create a new kind of theme for a more interesting presentation that combines both photography and art for the upcoming Cultural Festival. As first-year student Chisuga Fukasawa stays behind with Kurumi after telling her some ghost stories and scaring her, the rest proceed to the roof where in the midst of work, Yamabuki decides to distinguish between the two members of the Tsukishiro family by calling them via their first names, but Aoi decides to only call Kohaku by her first name for a distinction. After the photo shoot, Hitomi gathers up the courage to tell everyone that she is actually from the future, with Kohaku being her grandmother. The two use magic to make a train in the sky and they all return home after taking these satisfying shots.

I loved the little exchange between Hitomi and Kohaku. You know, for the moment that Hitomi kept calling Kohaku grandma on the balcony I started to wonder how it was possible that no one really heard them, so I was glad when that was exactly what end up happened at the end.

And damn Kohaku is such a fun character.

So based on Hitomi's face, it seemed like she knows her grandpa. That means her grandpa ain't part of the club, otherwise, the previous stuff wouldn't make sense… Speaking of the story, in this episode, I felt a whole mix of romance vibes between the guys and girls: Asagi secretly crushing on the club prez, some playful banter between the senpai and kouhai group, the shy artist boy being all into the leading girl, and the granny giving some guidance to the artist boy. Nice to see their bond.

They're right about keeping her being from the future a secret. If it got out like that one guy said people would probably come after her. If for nothing else but to make money with the knowledge of what to invest in.
