| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- So now, it's time for Futaba to become a member of Phantom Thieves. Can't say this is a surprise to me tbh at all. It seems this was more or less of an episode for friends to bond and deepen their relationship together. I'm also not surprised that we got a beach theme episode by this point in the series. The girls looks great especially Makoto. |

| They are glad Aoi-chan's character is joining, but she's "my pace", so they decided to spend the time together to deepening a better teamwork. Doing lots of things together, except Aoi-chan's character always wear masks. Main guy helped out and made curry. His curry is too spicy. He also got money from part-time job. Her bikini is cute. Art student guy's interest is unique as always, and this time is crab. She suddenly mentions to everyone about her true intention to join the group. It's not about changing heart, but about her mother. Her hacking ability is from searching about her mother. The research is related to the another world... It's time to choose code name for her, and she made the group became popular rapidly. That made cat to depress. Ponytail girl getting tricked by another girl who is jealous of her. The bar guy suspects mother's death, too. Day of mother's death... Main guy somehow comforted the cat in just reassuring its existance. New case next. |

| Not a fan of the adaptation at this point at all, the beginning was decent, but the further it is it falls more and more. Obv it will be rushed, but now it feels like they just adding parts randomly. The awakenings should be quite important part, but all of them felt pretty much anticlimatic, was waiting to see Makoto's bike scene and was dissapointed ... Couple of words about animation, that's about it ... |

| There is mistake, when Futaba is trying her swimsuit, there is Makoto's voice heard on attic, and in next scene she is right next to guys on the first floor. |

| Contrary to other people, I'm actually kinda liking this adaptation. It's not perfect, but it's doing a solid-enough job. Each arc/palace is getting at least 3 episodes + one or two epilogue episodes, which is much more than my original expectation of 2 episodes + 1 epilogue. This adaptation never feels rushed, even less than the P3 movies and P4A... and definitely P4GA. And I like how they handled some of the confidants (totally thought that the anime would cut that out). And Akechi is actually getting better treatment in the anime than in the game. Production values are weak and certain moments lack emphasis. But P4A also suffers from that too. Anyways, with 12 BD volumes and some volumes having 3 episodes confirms that P5A will be way more than 24 episodes. 36 episodes is logically reasonable, but calculations lead to a weird number like 32-34 instead. |

| I don't have many complains with this adaptation. The only thing that I dislike about this episode is the fast pacing. |

| Hmm... I feel some kind of way about Futaba becoming a Phantom Thief. Just like I felt some kind of way when Makoto became a member. Poor Morgana is having some kind of crisis. Ren is truly best guy to have your back! Loving the new ED. |

| Is it just me or I'm starting to think that Haru's VA is the same as with Asuna from Sword Art Online for some reason???? P.S. do you guys notice that Hamuko from P3P is going to appear in PQ2 at this point, which if that happens, is she going to ask Anne to cosplay as Angelise from Cross Ange for some reason????? |

| Did yusuke just made a sand castle with a giant ocotopus on it, I've seen enough hentai to recognize a fellow man of culture there. Poor mona worrying about who he really is, well at least it is nice to see Futaba growing closer as the weird quirky 'little sister' to the group |
