| Hopefully some improved CG, the 1st season had good CG in a year where bad CG ruled anime oh and not selling discs too early, it nearly killed the series. |

| A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one. Having the CG portions take place in an entirely different area with a different artstyle made them way more tolerable than if they just had CG models of the standard 2D characters, plus the chibi was really cute, so I enjoyed S1 more than I expected. Looking forward to a new season. |

| A bunch of news dropped today: All from Etotama's Twitter. The title is Etotama ~Nyankyakubanrai~ (えとたま～猫客万来～) As previously stated, it will have only one animated episode which will be 30 minutes long. Three illustrated audiodrama (20 minutes long each) episodes will air too. A new character : Naa-tan will appear and has an important part of the story. The voice actress of Naa-tan is Aina Suzuki. A picture featuring Nyaa-tan and this new character: The synopsis that I summarized with the information from the official website: "A few months have passed since the end of ETM12, the once-every-60-years Eto-shin selection festival, and the 2000-year-long feud between the Cat and Rat has been (sort of) settled. Taking advantage of Takeru's school trip, Nyaa-tan who returned from a solitary battle tour around the world is having a good time with the Eto-shin. Then one day, the mysterious Naa-tan appears. The Eto-shin are bewildered by the appearance of Naa-tan, who adores Nyaa-tan like an older sister and doesn't even try to hide her straightforward affection for her. Nyaa-tan, who is overjoyed at her newfound success, gets along well with Naa-tan, and everyone welcomes the new roommate and waits for Takeru's return in the same lively atmosphere as usual. One day at Takeru's residence, the Eto-shin suddenly sense an unusual movement in the world. Suddenly, Chuu-tan appears from the sky. She opens her mouth in an unusual manner and announces "some news". 'The seal is about to be broken...' she says. Naa-tan is actually a divine messenger who has been entrusted with a "mission" that even she has forgotten..."
