Interesting.....this is probably the most emotional Sophie I've seen from this show so far. Not surprised considering the circumstances.

Thought this episode was more of a personal journey for Sophie. The experience she's going through felt special although it wasn't quick to last. Sword came to kick ass again and bought reality back.

I felt bad for what Sophie is going through :(

It's nice that Sword got to meet Lizzy again, but now she's gone. Sophie's brother really didn't know that many people died to create El Dorado. He was manipulated by Horrors the whole time. I feel bad for what Sophie is going through and what she has to do.

This episode was freaking shocking. I really did not want Sophie brother the King of El Dorado but all this time it was an ancient horror controlling him instead. So that is the King instead of him... being manipulated and fooled... Damn that is deep..

I'm not sure if Sophie brother and that ancient horror is the same person, but the person that Queen admire so much seem to be ancient horror other than Sophie brother.

So martin was only king in the sense of being the real kings puppet or in this case ventriloquist dummy. To think he only thought it was half a year and never knew anything about the horrors. I can understand why the shock is driving sophie to this. But i have a bad feeling this is what king wants sophie to do.

And say what you want about this seasons villains but they are effective, 10000 people is a hell of body count, and with el dorado they could force all of humanity into a sort of matrix/animal husbandry thing. let them live in "happiness" while the horrors feed on there bodies

I'm not sure how I feel about this episode since I already know since episode 12 that Sophie's brother was king did they think the viewer wouldn't put two and two together ? missing brother, a king we never heard of just happens to want her also while we are at it I'm starting to wonder if this is even a Garo anime we are like what ? 20 eps in and we barely got any Gold knight action,I get they want to show off the cool animations but lets not forget this is Garo makes me wonder what the Japanese fans of Garo think of this title.

Edit actually I'm wondering if this anime was just supposed to be called Vanishing Line since the actual Garo title is so small.

Martin got used and Sophie has to kill her very own brother for whom she looked for the entire time. Feels bad..

You are missing the point, the real identity of the "king" isn't what matters here, what really matters is "El Dorado" and the horrors behind it, are you even paying attention? or are you so focused on hating on it because it isn't like the other Garos?

Goddamnit, this show never stops to annihilate my feels ;_; oh boy, Sophie's development has been so great lately. But damn, seeing her wanting so bad to kill his brother because of the Horror is so hard to watch, but it takes some guts to kill someone dear to you like that. ;_;

Damn, you are right about that, Villain effectively "farming" 10000 people without no one knowing or giving a damn thing about it. I wonder what would happen if they "upgrade" El Dorado 2.0 into something worse, worldwide support? the very idea is very terrifying

Now El Dorado looks more like a netherworld rather than just some fancy cyber virtual-based town when Sophie's brother describing it. Plus Sophie is going to do the "mistake" Sword had done.

I gotta a feeling Sophie is gonna be like: eh so I've killed my brother and he ends up not being the REAL King? Oh well, gotta go back to crying again coz I'm useless af

Coz we all know that Queen admired King and it turns out, King is Sophie's pussy brother, hell no, it's definitely not the real King

So Sophie's brother is technically the King, but the real King, who is actually a horror, is pretty much controlling everything from the shadows. I like it. That ending was fucking brutal too man, I feel bad for Sophie

Everything, word by word we said, was true for this series. A good brother controlled by Horror, made to believe he is doing good while creating hell on earth. A good sister who got caught in a horrors scheme who became a part of the program. The only thing I did not expect, would be Sophie going extreme and trying to liberate her brother the wrong way. She obviously does not understand he is but a pawn and bears no responsibility. No Mendoza, uh. But does Queen actually love him, or just keeping up the charade? Is she going to sacrifice herself for him after the Horror does not need him anymore?..

Does Sophie has the resolve to end the life of her Onii-chan by using Asphyxiation?
Alright! Gina the hottest is back with the Makai team!!!
Of course Sophie's brother Martin is the King, but why does it looks like he's unaware?
Lizzy helped as well even-though she's not really alive anymore.
The OST is so METAL rock great!
5/5.

Reminds me of Full Metal Alchemist where they had to sacrifice a lot of lives to make the philosopher's stone.

So Martin is really the king, like I was thinking...but for this episode, I believe he is being used, he doesn't know the real deal...

What a SHOCK that Martin, Sophie's brother, were the King. -.- I wonder if he have been tricked and manipulated by the ancient horror to make the ideal world, Utopia, so the Horrors can have a lot meat to bite on. At least he were happy about it for a while until he came out of his dream world. LOL, neither him or probably anyone of us expected that she would try to kill her own big brother. LOL

The part with Sword and his little sister, Lizzy, were very emotional. I guess that was the end of her soul. She sacrificed it to get him out of there. That must be hard for him too. I wonder when he will explode since he is holding all the tears back. :( Nice to see Gina back. I bet we all really missed her. Awesome to see her again. xD

Next ep. more choking. Lets see how long it takes before he dies. :D

Fantastic episode all around, the atmosphere was completely different than this series ever got, and it was a highly emotional episode with its focus on tragic siblings from both sword and sophie's perspectives.

And this shot right here was just stunning combined with the whole scene

Sad taste you have there kid you came up to me in the first place making you look more like a kid who got slapped without me even knowing it and start crying about it to me
