THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Marie is pretty picky when it comes to clothes... I'm not surprised that Ren decided to take her to school. Seems that she fit in pretty easy with the others. I guess this episode tried to make Ren and Marie's relationship look as normal as possible. After all the shit that happened so far, Ren's life has changed a lot. Rusalka is scary as fuck. |

Marie picking out clothes was cute. Ren decided to choose the school because it's the most important place to him. Rusalka is quite weird. |

The fanservice in this episode felt weird, like, wtf was with that dance scene with Rusalka. I was going to comment about the subs, but I remembered that the chants were also in German. Marie choosing her new clothes was really cute. The scene in the apartment was interesting, as in the VN Ren and Marie went to the nightclub to talk with Eri, but here they combined the scene to save time. Kinda smart. And farewell Shirou and Eri, it was a pleasure to know you two. I think that Reinhard telling Eleonore to open the fifth swastika was anime only, which is, again, pretty interesting. At least now people won't complain when she makes her appearance. Why did they include a post credit scene? Why not include those seconds before the credit? This illustration with Trifa is really nice. |

Lol wtf was up with that dance scene with Rusalka? Sure I wanted more screentime but lol that was weird. The only change I liked in this episode is Reinhard telling Elenore to open fifth, since anime watchers are lost most of the times. |

Honjou Eri is a hot punkish ojousama; kinda my type. I don't want to see her farewell but then again, she is saying "deja vu" which simply means she isn't disappearing at all but rather... This is some sort of special ability. Perhaps, Shirou Yusa is the other son of Riza Brenner. Honestly though, I think Riza Brenner's appearance is what I consider as truly beautiful even more so than Honjou Eri but unlike Eri-chan, this lady is a cruel evil monster. Then again, I cannot say that the protagonist Fujii Ren is normal. He seems quite a monster himself especially when he fully transforms. That's truly another monster! wwwwwwwwww~ |

This is not my case, I discover Dies Irae with this anime and apart from the beginning, I am now in a certain understanding of current events. A little thought does not hurt. |

You're the one that gets defensive here lol. Ok? So What? I have this name for a reason lol Ps: nice to see it's the episode full of fanservice that has the most "loved it" I guess I can gain back some faith in the anime community xD Considering this is an episode discussion forum, your praise of the ecchi scene(s) doesn't really equate to this show being good lol. But to each their own. i can't define what is good for someone else, i simply tell people when i disagree.. if people say something i don't agree with, the i tell them, its as simple as that and what's most important at the end of the day is whether or not people are entertained, not some personal definition of good In a general sense, just look at this show's score. thats nice, i don't give a fuck about a shows score, most of my list is 7 or below That's cool. Not that I asked. |

Are you seriously using an entire thread to argue? Just agree to disagree and be done with it. This is pretty much the last break you get before things really kick off. Once the 7th swastika opens there's no breaks to this train |

joa12222 said: I don't understand this at all. Rusalka says her chant in Japanese and CR translates it to German for some reason. It doesn't make any sense. To be completely fair, in the VN they're meant to be using German for their magical incantations as well...but they did always have English ruby text above it. Regardless it probably wouldn't have much meaning to anime only viewers since it's meant to be allegorical and metaphorical to their characters, the context of which is sorely lacking in the anime. Rusalkas goes Within the dark of night, a sleepless night, I part with the waters womb in jubilance as my head leaves in its cradle, Sending joyful ripples along the surface. The crisp air trembled as we played, Exchanging cries loud and high; my hair, drenched and green, danced in the air. And so we danced on, my hair drying in the cool air. Did Shirou & Honjou really kicked the bucket??!? but they seem so confident and composed up to the last second before they were devoured by Rusalka... 3/5. |
